Samrat Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Adelaide

This place used to be very good, I am not sure if the owner has changed. After tonight I don't think I will ever go back. I put an order in at 4:21pm and there was an option for delivery at 5:00pm. I selected the 5:00pm delivery option. Half an hour later, a confirmation text was sent to my phone saying the order was received at 4:54pm. I waited until 5:50pm and called the restaurant, after several phone calls I finally got through. I was informed that my food had been picked up and was on the way. I am not far from the restaurant, 20 minutes later I called the restaurant as the food still hadn't arrived. The staff had to take my number down and call me back. I was informed that the driver was out getting petrol and that it would be a couple of minutes away. Another 10 minutes later, the food finally arrived, no apology from the driver what so ever. A promised 5pm delivery arrived at 6:15pm and was steaming hot. An item was also missing, I called the restaurant and they said it would be delivered in 15 minutes, this item never arrived, no refund, no nothing. The entree platter looked burnt and left a funny after taste in our mouths. The portions were smaller than before, and the curry dishes just didn't taste the same. If you want good Indian food, go somewhere...

I ordered food through doordash on last saturday ($110). But restaurant workers forget 1 item to add in the baggage. I contact back to Restaurant straight away and lady said sorry i forget please conatct doordash for refund. I contact doordash and my complaint was declined. I review again and again request decline to refund me. Money dont matter me . Issue is. If restaurant forget to give you 1 item. Mean you cant get it refund back. 27/07 time was around 7:30pm . If admin is reading my review. Please give that money to the lady who forget to add 1 item as a tip 😀
