I organised a large group to go here for my sons birthday. I raved about this place going on my past experience here and had guests come from the other side of town to experience what I said was an excellent place to dine. On arriving we were handed I pads and were told that we had to order our own drinks. Some of my guests of the older generation were not comfortable with this and so it became my job to order for them. I came for a relaxing dining experience.....not to become a drink waitress. On top of this the mixers that they wanted were not on the menu and so I found myself having to consult with the waitress anyway. The process of ordering our meal was an absolute shambles with the waitress going from one customer to the other in no Pacific order resulting in one guest having to tell her twice that her boys would like to order. No kids menu...we had one child with us who had looked at the menu on line before coming and had decided on fish and chips. When his mum went to order she found that the only fish on offer was salmon (which the child didn't like and nor do many people may I add) and to have this anyway with a serve of chips would have cost her around $38. Who would want to pay this much for a child meal! My hubby decided on surf and turf which was on the menu. On ordering his he was told that this wasn't available. He pointed out that it was on the menu but was told that there had been changes made and they hadn't updated their menu. Instead he ordered a steak medium to well done. This came out still bleeding. My friend ordered a side of sweet potato fries, her son a large serve. She ordered before her son. Her sons meal was brought out and then she was told that they had run out of sweet potato fries. She complained that this was not good enough as she had placed her order first and might I add here that my other guests had also ordered their sweet potato fries well before my friend who were now also being told that they had run out. She was told by the waitress to have some of her son's as he had a large serve! How unprofessional as if a waitress would say this to a customer! I had ordered a salad with my meal and once my meal was served I waited for this. On asking where it was I was told that I had not ordered one but I could order now if I wanted. By this stage I had had enough of the unprofessional service my guests and I had received so declined. There were 4 in my family and my bill was 207.00 for an experience such as the one we had. Very dissapointing. Goodness knows how much more they made from my party but I do know that not one of my guests were impressed and all have said it was a very negative experience for them. None will be going back! I left some feedback on their i pad as they want their customers to with my details and no one even had the decency to call me to discuss or aploigies. Not even an email so obviously happy customers are not a priority for the staff and...

We got there early about 5.30pm we were the second customers in and on arrival the staff member was really friendly and inviting, made us feel welcome, went I went to order drinks she made a few recommendations and it was a real pleasant experience.

We ordered 2 burgers one beef and one pork, I have to admit the beef burger was delicious, great flavour, patty cooked perfectly, nice bun and salad tasty burger indeed, the let down was the chips, they were not cooked through and borderline raw, ordered an Aoli side dipping sauce but for the additional price you do not get much Aoli at all. The pork burger was nothing special l, the beef burger was far superior and again the chip were borderline raw.

We sat outside and waitress came and checked on the table behind us to see how their meal was going but did not check on my table, which was dissapointing as its inconsistent service and I could have provided the feedback about the chips.

I ordered a lattè and I got 3/4 foam and a 1/4 drink should not have been served, I could have sent it back but they should know and I am not one to make a big deal I just take note.

For dessert I ordered the chocolate torte with salted caramel ice cream and pistachio nuts and man what a tasty dessert could not fault it and all the flavours mixed together well and a real star dish.

At time to pay they asked how I found the dessert I explained delicious and with a laugh they asked how about the lattè which I replied I am not going to lie it was 3/4 foam and they sort of laughed it off.

I found the staff friendly but inconsistent service and the food was a real roller coaster ride from great to poor, for what you pay at this place I would rate it 2 1/2 stars out of 5, not a horrible experience but no wow I need to come back.

Had to give credit to that dessert though, so here is pic...

So here's a fun adventure, such a shame this place used to be great... it started pleasantly, joke with staff, laughs, chuckles and banter, seated... ordered the well known trifecta meat meal & my dinner associate ordered a rump steak, both steaks as medium.... fast forward 35mins, our drinks were served, 4 lots of "yours is coming out next" by the waitress and 30 more minutes our meals arrived... this is where the fun begins... cut into my steak part of the trifecta and more blood than a fresh out the gate teenage girl come gushing out of that slice, lucky though the paper layer & the wooden chop board did a swell job of soaking up the bloody mess, chicken that used to be breast tenders were now thighs that were so oil filled America tried invading my plate as I cut into them, rib rack was on point, small win hahaha mid meal they randomly dropped of a plate of mixed cooked veg, as a "freebee", the said "cooked" veg was so raw my still alive steak almost started grazing on them.... so as my tooth almost shattered on some "cooked" carrot I looked up to my dinner associate to see his utter dissatisfied face as his steak was well done/medium/rare/blue all in the same piece of served meat, I mean as talented as that is, it shouldn't be that way hahahahah as we went to pay n leave we expressed our disappointment, to be told sorry, no discount, even though we didn't even ask hahaha then we paid our bill n left, on the drive home it then clicked we had be also over charged, on deeper investigation, they added the veg to our bill.... what dogs... will never return to this...

So here's the scene my new partner and i go in for dinner for our first valentines day together, only to wait 30 minutes too receive our table water and to receive an extremely rude attitude from the girl with black hair in the form of a statement about how I am supposed to get own table water as it states on the menu "help yourself to table water". We then recived our drinks from a blonde women, who appeared drunk, recieved the worng drink and the other drink was forgotten about intirely and we received and cup full of ice minus the cider.... We received our first stater meal "cheesy bread" (seen in rear plate in photo) I think it speaks for itself.. Then we received our main meals conveniently at the same time as the rest of the restaurant 10 minutes before kitchen closes including, "5 hour slow cooked beef brisket" and "pork ribs" which both came out at the same time with the same sauce, not to mention that the beef brisket was not actually beef brisket, it was in reality a store bought beef loaf aswell as store bought salad for both meals and it all most definitely WAS microwaved all of it seamed to stick to the plate. All in all its safe to say I won't be spending my money here RIP to the OG keg and barrel, really sad to witness its demise.

I decided to take my partner, son and mum out for a nice dinner after a big week of work. The waitress was nice and polite but it all went downhill from there. My son’s meal was okay (chicken tenders and chips). It then took over 40 minutes to get the adult meals despite being the second table of only 4 to get our orders in. My partner ordered a $32 medium rare steak but it came out well done. All of the sauces cost $3 each and there was no option of a free gravy. So my partner ordered the mushroom sauce but there was so little of it which was most unhelpful when the steak was so dry and chewy. My southern fried chicken burger was bland and the chicken tasted exactly like the chicken tenders in my son’s meal. My mum’s barramundi was also dry. I would have made a complaint whilst there but because the meals took so long to come out, we had to rush home to get our son to bed. All in all it was a terrible experience other than the nice waitress. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back again. We like to support small businesses but when you pay $120 and the meals are way below par you just can’t give them another go.
