Indecisively driving around the Western Suburbs of SA to find somewhere interesting to park down and experience the feast for the day. Drove pass Torren Road in a numerous times but found that the site where La Bottega is, has been changed to an Italian Cuisine Eatery. Walked in and found it is no longer a Fruit & Veg Shop. In front is a displaced carbinet filled with homemade gourmet delicacies. From Arancini Aborio Rice balls to Lagsana till meat balls were appealing labelled. That is amazingly attractive to eyes. Another cabinet next to it, there are bowls of pickled delights, variety of cheese and many sticks of cured meats and Smoked meat rolls. At the far ends, there are displace of packages of dried quality pastas till jar of Olives and Olive oils plus much more. At the centre, there are tables for Dinners to dine in for instance cooking. Le Bottega is a traditionally Italian quality food supplied eatery plus more. Pure on “Mumma Cucina”. Even the taste has proven it. Ordered a pizza of “La Bottega Speciale”, with thin base and stunning Napolitana Sauce, topped with Good quality Freshly sliced Salami, topped with Fresh pomodoro wedges with fresh torn Mozzarella Cheese. Well Cooked oven baked Mark of melted Cheese garnished with fresh torn basils. With a side of warmed Eggplant Croquette and a “Halloumi and Sweet Potato Fritter”. La Bottega has opened the Traditional Mumma Cucina cultural favour to the Australian Market. It is very homely feels. Amazing! For a family runs med-class range business, it is good. Still in a process of setting and tailoring made system to fine tune the business. It should do well. The owner is even there to greet and communicated with their customers. Wonderful business relationship! Proud to see that. Well done!!

First time customer of La Bottega Pizza & Pasta. Home Delivery via Uber Eats app. Ordered the 9” The Lot Pizza (minus olives, prawns, oregano) with feta cheese. Everything about the pizza was excellent quality, from the beautifully tasty light, fluffy and soft texture of the pizza base through to the delicious perfectly balanced flavours of the Napoletana Sauce, the freshness of each ingredient toppings, cooked to perfection. Also ordered a garlic bread & lemon cheesecake slice. Will definitely be a returning customer and looking forward to trying more foods from their menu. Very happy with the food and service. See included photos: Pizza, Garlic Bread, Lemon Cheesecake.

The schnitzel wasn't really a schnitzel but a slab of chicken with the crumb coating and taste of Ingham crumbed tenders; anyone who bought them at their overpriced highschool cafeteria during recess or lunch would know what I'm talking about. Hell, I'd almost argue it looks like Ingham crumbed tenders too. Now, that's not to say that's necessarily a bad thing: it wasn't disgusting, inedible, or anything similar (albeit it wasn't amazing either) - it is just a different style if you're nice or plainly not a schnitzel if you're cynical. At the very least, you'll now know what to expect when buying one.

My partner and I came here for dinner last night, thinking it would be amazing because of all the reviews.... Boy were we wrong.

The food was very average, and actually has made me very sick as of today. But as him and I fast until dinner there would be nothing else that caused it. All that I had was carbonara and the meatball starter dish (the meatballs taste exactly like the ones from subway). As my partner is also I butcher, he was very spectacle about what they use for their meat because it didn't taste like what its meant to be.

As for the staff... At first it was fine. But once we were seated then got our order taken, the staff member didn't know how to even spell the different foods, and was standing way to close for comfort. The staff were sitting on the bench where the food goes, taking phone calls (on their personal phones). One of the ladies were pointing at me while whispering to another staff member. Did not look like it was in a nice way. It does not matter if we were the last customers in, customer service should still be a priority. Sorry for making you do your job!!!

The at building itself was FREEZING because the aircon was blasting, it was twice as cold in there as it was outside... Not knowing I would be needing a wool coat to stay warm over what's meant to be a lovely dinner.

The food at the end of the dinner was $70?! For what?! It wasn't proper Italian, nor did it taste good, and got myself and my partner sick! NEVER going back here again, nor recommending. Would love a refund, but of course we didn't get given a receipt.

Ridiculous and do...

New ownes I think, they must be planning on shutting this place down as the staff were only slightly worse then headless chicken. (the chicken at least move). The chef was decent, as in the pizza was your standard pizza, the pasta was a bit odd like it was missing spices and seasoning. The 2 staff inexperience was an understatement. Place was mostly empty but we booked any way but we had to wait to sit down because one staff member did not know how to seat people or speak english?. Ask for bbq sauce, came out with the bottle as if it was a pot of gold, ask for a garden salad, the cucumbers had their skin still on but the seeds appeared to have been sucked out we were left with the nub of a slice, the salads were pre-made, dressing left to soak for hours. Asked for beer on tap, both taps were empty. The best was the coffee, it was cold milk with a splash of coffee. No clue how to make a coffee even though they have been...
