La Romana Pizza Bar Broadview — Restaurant in Adelaide

I use to eat from the Brooklyn Park store very regularly, however moved and am now near the Broadview store twice I have ordered the "Marinara """"Large prawns"""", hake fillets, tender calamari and oysters tossed in garlic and basil then finished with our napolitana sauce" the first time I rang and queried the distinct lack of any prawns let alone large ones.. The excuse I was given that it comes from a mix and cannot guarantee same quantities of each type of seafood even though there were no prawns at all let alone BIG ones. The staff offered to exchange the dish however had already eaten but had said that if I leave my number they would credit a garlic bread against this.. I rang a bout a month later to order the same thing and queried the garlic bread credit and was told that wasn't there and the computer just resets. I ordered the same dish expecting at least some prawns but got exactly the same dish NO prawns. It seems that the prawns are not in existence at all... Great portion parmi (1kg worth if the menu's to be believed though there's 600g if a kg is excessive) so it'll definitely satisfy any dinner cravings with little room for dessert. Chips were tasty, though I don't know if it's just the size of the box and/or the parmi but I felt like they could've given a bigger portion.

Overall, a solid experience. They didn't reinvent the wheel nor knock my socks off but they definitely did the fundamentals right. At $24 (or $30 if you're foolish and ordered it on a food ordering app like myself), you'll probably find it hard to find another restaurant that serves so much for a similar price.

So last night I decided to order from here as ubereats was doing free delivery for this place, so I decided jump onto Google maps and see how the reviews and pictures of the food etc. As I was quite surprised there is so many positive reviews on this place.

So I decided to order the chicken parmi, once I received my meal as I couldn't believe how big the chicken parmi was gonna be as I thought it was gonna be small but nope I was wrong of the sizing. Plus for the price for it as it was decent price for the size of it.

Though I could only eat a few bites of it and saved for the rest for my lunch today. As the chicken was juicy just melts in your mouth, the crumbing was on point of crunchy and the chips were delicious too.

I know I will be back again to order another chicken parmi or something...
