Pasta Deli — Restaurant in Adelaide

This used to a great business, unfortunately now it is very hit and miss in regards to quality of the product.

They don’t “prepare” the raw ingredients for the salads on site just combine them to make the salads. The cooking is also done off site as well so understandably this business is at the mercy of their supplier/s.

For example I used to love their chicken tenderloins, of late they have been small and over cooked to the point of being tough and burnt.

Today I bought their pumpkin/bean/chickpea/feta/sundries tomato salad today. The pumpkin was so under cooked I could barely put a knife through it and the whole salad was somewhat tasteless.

It is a pity the quality of the food has dropped because the staff there are always polite...

Amazing service. There is a red chilli pesto that is divine. This is not always in stock. When I visited over 2 weeks ago, I mentioned that I really liked it and the kind lady behind the counter took my phone number. I didn’t expect anything. Yet, yesterday, I received a phone call to tell me they had a batch in stock! The lovely lady ( I wish I could remember her name), put some aside for me to collect. Fantastic service!! All of their food is delicious. My children and partner love their meatballs. I really like their pumpkin and chickpea salad and rice...

I ordered frittata and eggplant parmigiana for takeaway. I waited till they heated them and packed them up. Guess what, they only packed the frittata only. The next morning i went to enquire as mistakes can happen its normal. Instead of being nice they told me They waited for me but i was gone?!?? I clearly remember they handing me over on box in a polythene bag with TWO cutlery sets and didnt even tell me to wait or anything. Horrible service...
