Very fast and friendly service every time that I have visited. It’s a rather small space so sometimes it’s hard to get a table or a bench spot if you are looking to dine in. As per my bakery reviews I judge the standard meat pie and the vanilla slice. Meat Pie = 8/10 ... tasty and served hot, you can tell that the meat used is of a high quality and it’s full on mince. The serving of sauce could be bigger but overall very tasty. Vanilla Slice = 6/10 .... standard vanilla slice however the pastry was a little soft and meant you almost needed a knife and fork to cut into it rather than the fork given with the place. Tasty enough and would order again, just nothing super special really.

Beautiful spot in one of the loveliest shopping centres in Adelaide, Burnside village. The service was quick and nice. The staff were so friendly and professional. I ordered ham and cheese croissant and a mug of late. Very tasty, simple and crunchy croissant and lovely coffee. Lots of other items from breads to cakes, pastries and pasties are also available. You can also order a freshly made sandwich as well. Very good place to have a bite and good coffee during your visit and shopping.

THE BEST LAMB PIE IVE EVER HAD THE BEST COFFEE!!!!!! THE BEST VANILLA SLICE EVER!!!! SPREADING THE WORD AND COMING BACK. YOU GUYS HAVE A GREAT THING GOING HERE..... THE SHOO IS TOO SMALL TO CATER FOR THE POPULARITY. We travelled 25min to come here and wasn't disappointed. Even the kids (big critics) loved it too

On the 28th Jan 2018, we bought a discounted lasagna from the shop, knowing it was to be eaten on the day or frozen. We ate it that same evening and the cheese on the sauce had gone bad and we threw the item away. Today, I gave a feedback to one of the tenant of the shop, that on hot days, they needed to check their discounted items were still fit for selling. I was met with a standard answer that those items are meant to be eaten on the day or frozen, no apologies were offered, let alone any customer services (and I was not even asking for a discount or a refund: just letting them know that this is a serious matter that can lead to food poisoning and this can't be discounted on hot days). The tenant of the shop offered no added value by just reiterating the policy, no apologies or no solutions, which shows lack of seniority of the supervising staff and lack of taking the matter seriously. I have been a long time customer who cared enough to give feedbacks (good or less good equally) and I believe that feedbacks are important to prevent future issues. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to concern staff who aren't shop owners.

I will be talking to Tracy next, the owner...

In fact I like the toasted sandwiches, pies and bread in this place, all staff are very friendly,I go with families and friends regularly. BUT what put me off is the BOSS LADY. They written on their menu broad that toasted sandwiches are $6.50, I always have them whenever I go there. Every time I was charged exactly what the written price EXCEPT when this BOSS LADY serves me, she always charge me at least a dollar more. When first served by her I was charge $8 instead of $6.50, and refund me a dollar after I confronted her. Today I went there with friend and was unlucky served by this Boss again. She charged $0.50 more to each of us. Again I asked her why we're overcharged, her response was "I am the Boss of this place", always more when toasted. I said their price written $6.50. We are regular customers and all other staff charge according to their menu. I told her she can't do that even she is the boss. she has shocking manners towards me more than once. May be she doesn't like Asian. she is the boss doesn't mean she can overcharge whenever she likes. I won't go there...

Went in with my young children and elderly neighbour. Had a trolley with my baby capsule and neighbour was told to sit somewhere out of the way if we needed to have trolley there (yes we did, baby asleep in it & had my shopping). Then told 3 times by 3 different staff members to be careful with trolley and not hit their tables (which we hadn't and, common sense prevails, we were not there to destroy their precious tables, rather to eat!). What if I had brought in my double pram? Surely they would accommodate? To top it off, they charged a ridiculous price for 3 cheese and sauce sandwiches for kids ($24!). The cake was nice so 1 star for that. Rest of food was standard. Coffee not great. We were escorted out a front door to avoid bumping into the precious tables. I will try another place next time I shop at...
