Pho South Saigon Vietnamese Cuisine — Restaurant in Adelaide

Ordered through Menu Log last night and was quoted 25-30 minute wait. I called the restaurant an hour later when we had not received the food and the woman answering said that it had been picked up nearly an hour ago and hung up on me. I then received a message from Menu Log that they were still looking for a driver, so our food could not possibly have been picked up. I eventually received the food from a Menu Log driver nearly two hours after it was ordered.

The food was completely cold and inedible. The fried rice was boiled, not fried, we had a half-cooked congealed fried egg, the spring rolls were soggy and dripping oil, the pork chop was so dry and hard that we had to cut it to get it off the bone, the satay chicken was dry and hard with congealed peanut sauce on it, and did I mention that it was completely cold and inedible.

I called the restaurant to discuss it and the the conversation went: Me: Hello, I have just had an order delivered by Menu Log. Her: What is your name? Me: Chris XXXX Her: It has been delivered. She then hung up before I could say anything at all.

Our dog enjoyed it, but he's a dog and will eat anything.

We have a lot of good Asian take out places around here, but this was so bad that I want to give it a minus star rating instead of the one star rating that I have to give it.

PS We made toasted sandwiches after this and...

I went twice to this place because the food is really good. Unfortunately it's not allied with good service. Both times took forever for them to take the orders and bring the food, if you just stay at the table you probably will wait for more than 40 minutes until someone takes your order. I can tell that they are short staffed but what surprised me most this last time was when we ordered food and drinks and then the drinks never came. At the end, we were told that they were too busy to make those drinks and we should buy something that is already in the fridge. We could observe that even people that were there to take alway simple rolls or noodles waited as much or even more than us. Pity, because they have a great location, good decoration...

The food is very delicious and we are regular customer of this restaurant but we were so disappointed one of the staff there, she treated us like slaves. We paid money to eat food n it does not mean u treat us like that. Never see this one before when we go there other staffs were so good . no comments for the food its awesome as always. The only thing is She needs to learn manner n good customer service. We recommended so many friends to go there n they were really enjoyed food, instead this lady i won't recommend anyone to go there. There are so many good vitnamese restaurant in adelaide. That rude lade freaked...
