Aragosta Café Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Adelaide

NO LONGER ALLEGREA, it has changed hands & menu, sadly, the bar has lowered. The food & the service was good, but lacked the former excellence. Less than generous serves, the quality did not match the prices which I thought a tad excessive. They say you get what you pay for, but not here, not on this night, both my partner & I left disappointed & we shall not return. Cheers.

ALLEGREA I came because of word of mouth, I had expectations & those expectations were exceeded. My partner has been here on many occasions & sang their praises, she wasn't wrong. The restaurant ambience was a little underwhelming, but looks were certainly deceiving. The quality of food & quality of service was excellent, the waiter also made excellent recommendations which we ordered & rewarded with some wonderful dishes. I enjoyed the food here as much as the revered Enzo's on Port road. The prices were not cheap, but worth every cent & every morsel. I would recommend this establishment without hesitation, give this one a try, I'm coming...

Come again and was impressed again. Great food and HUGE service size. Entry is the same size as main. Risotto was cooked perfectly- rice was Al dente with balanced and complex flavours. The steak cut so smoothly and you could cut it with a dinner knife easily. The staff were so friendly and they made you feel you were family. The only issue was the size of the risotto. There was enough left for two lunch boxes. Strongly recommend this place, AND make sure you skip the meal prior so you can a chance to finish the food and still have room...

The most delighted I have ever been on leaving a restaurant even though I felt like staying till my next mealtime. A generous serve of tasteful fresh food impeccably presented promptly in a warm & friendly yet professional manner. What more could one want? Realistic prices? Yes, yes, & yes! Having travelled internationally I can truly say 'world class' & with the owner, Roberto, & his family putting their international heritage into it with passion that's not surprising. Trust them to guide your interests & your taste buds will thank you. My wife & I are already planning our return with a group of our closest friends & travelling near 40km each...
