Rito's has gone downhill since the new owner took over. There's less on the shelves, items aren't replenished in a timely fashion and the vendor is blamed when it's actually the owner not approving stock.
For example, I'm a fan of the almond bread. It was seven weeks between restocks and when they finally got some in (not through issues with the vendor, but with the owner being belligerent) they upped the price.
I'm done supporting this business. The staff have all but been replaced with young women who don't have the same gravitas. The owner has tried to bring in lines that do not sell. The only thing keeping this business afloat are the diehard locals and the convenient location.
I don’t usually respond to passive aggressive attacks but I just want to clarify - I had blocked you on FB as to avoid engaging with you. I have no personal vendetta here - YOU are the one who has come to a review from ten months ago to stir up drama again.
You've blocked us - Yes I have, because our back and forth served nothing, I backed off as you wanted me to. Honestly, replying here serves no purpose either but I won’t be bullied into submission. I gave a fair and honest review that I will stand by. You don’t have to like it but harassing me won’t change my review.
Continued to comment despite no longer being a customer - as a someone who is a local, I continued to engage with others in my community.

The turnover you’ve had since taking over surpasses what Rito ever had.
My feedback was honest. You could not provide produce. I gave ONE example and you’ve clung to it like a life boat. There were other products that you gradually removed that the locals did want.
There is no tangible reason for you to keep coming at me. I have not engaged with you, your company or FB page in months. I suggest you focus on your business and not on what one person has to say - again, I remind you that I stopped engaging months ago. Let this go and please stop...
Read moreI have been to ritos a few times and everytime has just been shocking. The staff are rude and do not care, they seem to have no idea what they’re doing or what’s going on. The wait time of food and drinks is beyond a joke. So after this being my previous experiences, I thought I would give the another try as they food and drinks are really good… I deeply regretted my choice! The elder lady who was doing coffees had absolutely no idea and had to ask me what my order was as well as other people’s orders! Didn’t actually make my coffee properly- if I order something with cold foam I expect cold foam, I have paid for it! There was also other people there who waited over 30+ minutes for their coffees as the we’re forgotten about. I also ordered a number 3 sandwich which when the lady gave me my coffee she acknowledged that I was still waiting for my food… another 30 minutes pass I am still waiting and then they ask me again if I am waiting for anything else and yup! They forgot my sandwich again! So I had waited 40+ minutes for a coffee and a sandwich which the sandwich was not great. There seemed to be one girl who was just wondering around not doing anything. I also want to add- they were not busy at all!! They had 5 max customers in there which most already had coffees etc. I really hope that the owner sees these reviews and hires some competent staff members or your business is going to keep going down hill, which is a shame because food is good but service...

Although, breakfast took 20 or so minutes to come out during peak busy breakfast (we ordered 2 of the eggs benny!) the food, coffee was excellent and the customer service was probably the best thing of the whole experience. The owner came over and had a chat to us. Some of the employees were new and just need a bit of time. I think some of the reviews on here are pretty harsh to be honest. We went over to the shop area and were immediately greeted by the staff over there as well. Ryan (I think his name was) mentioned that it has been quite difficult for them to get all the international stock in and that a lot of the suppliers don’t have the stock they usually have, which is out of their control. All in all, the service was the best and we even got to get some really cool goodies. Will definitely be back and will tell all my friends about...
