Silver Swan — Restaurant in Adelaide

After ordering Silver Swan for approx 8yrs I can tell you that this Chinese ranks up there with the best Chinese in the country. I've eaten Chinese in Melb, Syd, Bris, at all the Chinatowns, even the one in Adel, but Chinese Swan is the best I have tasted in years. Add to that the friendly service from the phone to the delivery where nothing is touch trouble and Silver Swan, you are on a winner. If I find that for some reason I can't order Silver Swan, I wait until I can. Why waste my money on second rate Chinese when I can get the best at Silver Swan. Keep up the good work. You have a loyal customer in me and I love to tell a lot of people when I think a product and device are good. Your product and service is excellent so its easy for me to promote you. Thank you for many years so far and may there be many more....

We have not eaten from here in years. And I told hubby no was great last time ,but he said give a go... I will say this it is chinese food, that's it. taste and flavours not there and taste like a Aussie cooking Asian food. Only thing was half decent was battered pork spare ribs which looks like idk if was ribs ? Or pork meat And as chef/cook, i was so disappointed.... 😔 Beef black bean watery tatseless, a funny flavour ,soggy mushy celery corn tasted funny I had spit it out, sweet sour sauce and plum gluggy as. Fried rice gluggy as well , spring rolls dry on inside . I didn't taste spent over 100$ I'll pay for decent food should gone else where so...

Good and bad! Not sure we'd go again for close to $100 with all the bad. Alright dim sims, decent size with some flavour. Good sweet and sour pork, fair size. Honey chicken flavour was nice but chicken was quite dry, fair size. Steamed dumplings were just average, wouldn't order again. Lacked flavour. Would not pay $8.50 again for their idea of prawn salad, salad tub with 90% lettuce with a handful of prawns on top smeared in generous sauce. Offensive amount of duck in the duck and sprouts, tiny bits in a tub full of sprouts, for $17.50, that was disgusting. Would rather them have rung and said they...
