Extremely rude service, went to this store to get sushi with my partner, they have two cabinets on display, one with the boxed meals and one with the single rolls, stood with my partner in front of the cabinet with the boxes, happily waiting to be served, no intention of line cutting at all, never have in my life, waited for all other customers to be served, and then moved to the payment area, there were no other customers. Staff did not serve us at all, completely ignored, new customers came along and a staff member immediately went to serve them. We had not even spoken to any staff member and were treated with this kind of disrespect. Extremely poor service, even more frustrating when we have been to this store so many times as the sushi is great, and staff have always been very kind. I work hospitality and I know it’s not difficult to search for an ingredient in Mayo. I asked him to check if there was any dairy in mayo, looked at me like I was bothering him, then went in the back, but my partner could see him and he walked in and straight out without even looking. The guy at the counter called ‘Kevin’ was shockingly rude and arrogant zero customer service skills, no manners, and acted like he was being forced to serve people. Kevin spoke in a dismissive tone, rolled his eyes when I asked a simple question, and made the whole interaction incredibly uncomfortable. If you don’t like dealing with people, maybe don’t work in hospitality. I come here often, but this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
