Absolutely incredible experience! 👏 🙌 I had my birthday this weekend and we visited Tan Nhu Y for lunch based solely on what I read in the reviews. We were not aware that dine in lunches are usually no longer booked anymore. However, when I called, the hostess, Rose took the call and booked us in anyway and explained this to us later. Rose is the most amazing person I have met in customer service hands down. 🤩 She is incredibly accommodating, kind, hospitable, warm and friendly.

The food was so tasty we ordered the steamed dim sims and sizzling seafood, prawns and chicken. All the portions were huge with lots of vegetables. The garlic sauce was my favourite and it tasted genuine, non greasy and minus the msg. Absolutely fabulous 👌 Drink sizes were pretty large also, great if you aren't driving. 😉

We had such a great time here for lunch that I reccommend everyone visit this place at least once just to meet Rose and try out the mouth watering dishes!! You will not be disappointed!! I just recommend you go for dinner. As we will definitely be returning for dinner. Yum!

Family friendly, incredible fresh food, reasonable prices and an amazing atmosphere! 💫 Just wow...

I went to this Vietnamese hotpot place yesterday and had a really disappointing experience. The broth took forever to boil because the heat was so weak, and the beef slices were thick, chewy, and tasteless. Although it’s a hotpot place where food should come out quickly, we had to wait 15 minutes just for one dish.

It’s an all-you-can-eat hotpot for $35 per person. We went as a group of four and ordered three plates of beef, but the portions were ridiculously small—maybe 7 or 8 slices per plate, barely enough for one person. What’s worse, the table next to us had just two people and got a full heaping plate of beef. The inconsistency in service and portions was very frustrating.

We ate from 7 pm to 9 pm, and none of us were full by the end. After getting home, we all felt extremely thirsty, likely due to excessive MSG in the broth. One of my friends even experienced vomiting and diarrhea afterward. Overall, this was a terrible dining experience—not worth the...

This restaurant is the dirtiest I have ever been to. The owner is very friendly but eventually annoying as she keeps coming back to 'chat'. She gave us two 'free' entrees but in the end we paid nearly $60 for two dishes and a pot of tea and after checking the prices in the menu we were DEFINETELY charged for the entrees. Back to the state of cleanliness which is basically non existaet. The fridge doors are so filthy you can't even see what is inside. Why did we stay and eat despite the filth???? We had just finished a 950km drive and were tired and hungry so we went to the first place which was open. As mentioned, the owner was so chatty that we didn't really look around until after our order was taken and not wanting to be rude we stayed but only ate some of our food as I could only imagine what the kitchen was like if the rest of the place was so dirty. The food was sub par! There are MUCH better places in Adelaide so do yourself a...

Tan Nhu Y in Adelaide offers a $35 all-you-can-eat Vietnamese hotpot (kids half price). Authentic broths – we tried goat meat and fermented fish – super flavorful! Vegetables, meats, fish balls, and seafood platters all you can eat. Not just spicy mala anymore, this is real Vietnamese hotpot. Friendly staff and great vibes, highly recommend! Plenty of parking at the back.

Talk about kitsch! This place has a 90s charm and the owner is super lovely. We came for yum cha on the weekend but I’d only come back for Vietnamese dishes in the future. Although steamed fresh and served piping hot, the dim sum are frozen and consequently don’t have the texture of flavour of those served from a steamboat

Friendly service, owner operated Vietnamese-Chinese eatery. The traditional dishes and well seasoned and balanced with dipping sauces. Quick service and value for money for sure. Will definitely be back to try the daily dishes. Definitely has the 80s vibe, the karaoke machine is a bonus at events.
