DO NOT get the gravy! I had a Cheese Burger, my mum a Battered Fish, and we shared one xl Chips & Gravy for lunch. I'm sure the chips themselves are good, but the gravy was like motor oil and made the chips soggy and gelatinous. My mum thought the fish was okay, the batter being a little oily and it didn't have enough salt. My burger was mediocre, better than McDonalds but still not great, the chips of all things made it better though. The service was normal, not incredible, not horrible, it was what you would expect, fine. The atmosphere was not good, one singular dirty metal table missing a foot, and a bunch of dusty chairs with grimy cushions. They had bread sitting out in the air near a dirty electrical socket, and the place was all around really cluttered and messy, it felt like a warehouse. I noticed a bunch of really gray steaks sitting in the topping selection case too. I recommend if you're going to eat here you should probably just get normal fish and chips because that seems to be what everyone else is getting and they are giving out 5 stars all around, do not get anything else. And get it delivered, don't let yourself see where your food is coming from or you might not...

Ordered a couple of the fish for one meals in April. I did not recognise the staff from previous visits. Menu had multiple changes. Appeared the store had changed ownership.

The April meal and service was subpar and no comparison to the quality the previous cook / owner provided.

Portion size was significantly smaller than previous purchases. The fish was undercooked, and had a strong odour. The meal was not finished when the undercooked meat was found at which point the odour became more apparent.

The bag the food was placed into by the store staff must have been placed on a dirty surface with fish oil. The fish odour remained on the car seat and required a spot cleaner to be removed.

The experience left us purchasing food elsewhere plus time and more money than the cost of the meal cleaning fish odour.

Only positive is no one was sick form the undercooked meat.

It's decent! With many roll options along Hanson Road it does have a lot of competition, unfortunately their meats dont live up to the taste of competitors and their cold rolls always taste a bit old. But I will give it to them that they put an amazing amount of the finishing sauce on, not too much to be sickly but enough to get it soaking in the bread a bit. They seem to be popular for hot food so if we feel like that we'll have to hit them up again. Parking out the front is convenient which gives them an upper hand compared to competitors...
