Had lunch at this cafe which I visited quite sometime back. We ordered a Bento Set and a Korean Pancake. The Bento Set comes with a diversity of Bibimbap, salad, spring roll, sushi and fried chicken pieces. Interesting to see a mix of different cuisines in one Bento. The pancake was a good size for something light, but I must say it's a tad too oily. Having said that, it was tasty. The indoor sitting was a little tight, but comfortably seated. Outdoor seats were available and well sheltered despite being a rainy day.

Randomly dropped in on Sunday, little gem place. Staff is so nice and friendly. Very quite and good place to catch up with friends and study, has background music. Korean-fusion brunch, ordered coffee, nice latte art, coffee is not very strong if you like sth light, I’d personally like stronger one; ordered prawn Kimchi pancake, good portion with fair price, but the carrot was a bit raw, that’s the only flaw. Definitely will go back and try sth else.

If you're looking for delicious foods and a nice atmosphere, The Flying Fan is the place for you. You can enjoy authentic Korean foods from authentic people. Extremely friendly and timely service! All items are well priced and the owners are passionate to ensure you have a pleasant experience. I couldn't ask for better. Will definitely be back.

Visited here yesterday for a joint birthday get together. The staff were lovely, the place was busy, light atmosphere and clean. There's a lot of dishes to choose from on this fusion menu. My friend and I opted for variations of the Korean Bibimbap. This can be vegetarian or with meat, with rice or noodles, with a spicy or teriyaki sauce, with or without an egg, and in a bowl or on a hot plate. Each dish on the menu however is well priced and made fresh for you, unless you purchase from their premade options in the cabinet. I also had an entree of the Takoyaki (octopus balls) which were lovely, but I would mention please be careful here. I burnt my mouth on mine because they were so hot, so give them time to cool. The drinks are also well priced and tasty. My friend and I both throughly enjoyed our bibimbaps and our experience at The Flying Pan and I will be sure to...

Lovely little cafe. We arrived with a group of 10, and even though we had not called ahead the staff quickly arranged a table for us. The service was quick and friendly throughout, the ambience is delightful and the outdoor seating area had a heater and even had blankets provided with each chair.

I had the Sunday lunch deal, which pairs a croffle (a croissant style waffle!) & your choice of topping with avocado on toast and choice of bacon or salmon. Everything was delicious and well presented (especially given the speed of service!). I was impressed.

I had a chai latte with my meal. This too was excellent, not too sweet or too overwhelmed with cinnamon. Well balanced.

After this great experience, I'll definitely...

I ordered the takoyaki and the spicy tofu stew here. The takoyaki was rather ordinary, but the tofu stew was divine. It had sliced mushrooms, zucchini, small shrimps, small diced meat? (It was a bit chewy) And of course tofu. It was served with rice. It wasn't too spicy (I have a high spice tolerance so it wasn't spicy at all), it was served not too hot, at the perfect temperature to consume right away. To me it was very 'healing', the amount served was perfect. There was some jazzy music in the background, and I didn't have to wait long for it to be served. Great experience,...
