First time coming here for brunch — such a lovely spot close to the beach, so we could go for a walk and enjoy the sea breeze after eating. There were three of us and we each ordered a coffee: mocha, latte and cappuccino. One of my friends asked for a koala latte art, and I requested a dragon — the barista was super nice and actually gave us the designs we wanted. So cool, really appreciate that! ☕️🦘🐉

For food, we tried some of their recommendations — we had the Bagel No.5 and the chilli eggs. Both were really tasty and we all loved the flavours!

It was pretty busy when we were there, lots of people chatting inside, so it might feel a bit loud for some. If you prefer a quieter vibe, I’d suggest sitting outside to enjoy your coffee and brunch.

All in all, great experience and I’d definitely come...

What a fantastic find. Wow. Very impressed with this place. Inside and outside it is a very special venue yet almost hidden away with access from the side street. This kind of informal quiet venue for coffee / tea and lite meals or snacks are too rare these day. This is not the typical cafe where you sit alfresco style with noise of busy traffic. I love your eclectic beachy atmosphere and decor. And hey!? They heated my ham cheese and tomato croissant without crushing it flat like most do. Then my wife and daughter loved their serves of sweet potatoe hash brown with eggs and bacon. All well priced. Great coffee too. You must at least try this hidden gem. Thank you dear...

Terrible, mouldy bread. We order the eggs Benedict and the smashed avo, both said they came with sourdough, it was not sourdough, it was some crappy white bread, it tasted bad then and towards the end of my meal I found mould on it. I told the staff and they gas lit me and told me it wasn’t mould. They gave me a free coffee but it wasn’t enough to make up for being gas lit and the terrible experience. My partners coffee was burnt. When we walked the sign said to sit down and someone will come see you but we were ignored for a long time while they cleaned the table around us. If I’m paying $27 for smashed avo on sourdough with poached eggs I expect...

2020: Such a lovely vibe with really friendly staff who went above and beyond to look after us and my doggy! Beautiful outdoor and indoor space. The coffee was excellent and the food was delish. Highly recommend! Edit: Jan 2021, returned to experience the same lovely (and super fast) service and amazing eggs benny! Will definitely always choose this place when I'm in this neck of the woods.
