Vale's Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Adelaide

I am Absolutely disgusted & appalled. I only work in McLaren Vale area fortnightly so I treat myself to a local pizza which is very pricey almost $40 & I don’t always have the $$$ for a treat myself dinner and I got home looking forward to my pizza prize, only to open the box to find a very overcooked & burnt pizza. I ordered item way before the dinner rush & no on was in store so it wasn’t busy, so why did my pizza look more like it had gone through a crematorium rather than a pizza oven ? I was a regular here but I had to throw the pizza straight into the bin. Almost $40 & I’ll never get my money back, which sucks cause I work hard to earn a little reward, so here is photo proof right here showing my pizza, this is not good enough in my opinion. A pizza should be gooey cheese mouth watering & not resemble a cremation service. No way will I ever be back again, you lost a regular customer which is a shame as I like to support local small businesses. How can a local pizza business get it so wrong ? It’s clear you either don’t know how to use your pizza oven correctly or all the care for your product & customer has gone out the window & you don’t care about a quality product for your customers at all. Zero out of ten avoid at all costs unless you enjoy a crematorium pizza...

we will not be coming back. these were the highlights of our experience:

the owner berating us for not knowing the specials (which are not accessible to view on their website) him then continuing to roll his eyes and rip and scrunch off the order sheet in anger after we changed our order to something that works with their deals as my mum was waiting she heard him speak just as angrily to his staff, truly disgusting to hear especially as a lot of the staff were teenagers when they called out our order, our chips weren’t ready yet and our ham and cheese pizza that we requested had pineapple on it when my mum brought this up to the staff member he offered to remake the pizza, however also defended the owner’s actions, stating that “that’s what 30 years in the business does to you, of course he’s a little grumpy” the “gourmet” taco pizza was basically flavourless and had more lettuce than any other topping which was very disappointing

First time I went to this place. Ordered a combo yiros costing $14.25. I eat yiros 3-4 days a week and have tried many yiros shops in adelaide.

This was by far the worst yiros I have ever had. Bit salty (salt watery taste), meat was practically tasteless no true flavors of a yiros, had hot chilli sauce instead of garlic sauce and it was like hot n sweet chilli sauce. The pitta bread was well toasted but very oily.

Seeing all the other reviews, definitely this not a place I would ever go back too.

Vale pizza’s yiros was absolutely unpleasant to eat, expensive in regards to portion and taste. Regreted ordering from here.
