I pass this place a lot and have wanted to try it for ages. After a day at the beach we were hanging out for good fish and chips. Where to start? Generous serve of chips and would have been delicious with good potatoes and fresh oil. Potato fritters greasy, tiny and worse than the chips. Fish, overcooked in old oil and the mangiest looking piece of fish I have ever seen. Tip, when the fish is curled up you have cooked the hell out of it. Finally a battered sausage - Again overcooked in old oil. The highlight was the Fanta I could wash down my chipped tooth from the rock hard batter around your attempt at a crumbed sausage. I am sorry this is harsh but seriously, it's fish and chips, not a lobster bisque At what point do you guys stand there and say "Seems good enough to send out"? I hate to have to complain because the staff here are lovely with very good service (bringing the chips up to the customer waiting) and we like to support our local Fish and Chippery. But the last few times we have ordered, the chips have tasted reheated and bordering on cold. They were also plain when we asked for extra chicken salt. I actually cut my throat on one of the many sharp edged chips aswell. I didn't enjoy them and felt like it was a waste of calories. Very rude staff. Im a regular customer and spending around $80 to $100 a week with them on food. Called for ordering food but they disconnecting the call. Later on called them again the staff answered the call and his car English was very poor, i have repeated the order 3 times but he didn't get it right and asked me to repeat the order, I repeated the order for the fourth time loudly and when i went to pick up the order he was very rude and fought me.
