Unfortunately this was originally going to be a 5 star review.. The positives were that the place had a great atmosphere, the two gentlemen at the BAR (not the food counter) were hospitable, friendly and attentive - the environment was very family friendly, and it was overall a nice experience. The food could have been a little bit better … the garlic bread was completely burnt and black - it tasted burnt beyond repair, as you can see in the photos a black bit of toast which I had ripped off from the plate my sister in law ordered, the less burnt bit behind it was just pizza crust, but that bread… may as well have served up some charcoal. This was my only issue initially and I was going to leave 5 stars regardless but the woman behind the food counter with the horrid scowl on her face was very rude, foul attitude towards customers just ordering food or enquiring about menu items - unnecessarily barking at us like we’re 3rd grade students at a P.E. class - absolutely disgusting and ruined the overall experience. I went to politely ask where the toilet was and she looked at me like I had just ruined her life by asking a question. I didn’t even realise you were to order food from that counter because of the way she acted when I went up there to ask for the bathroom. Her demeanour was that I was wasting her time by approaching- which is weird considering people have to go to her to place food orders? I was trying to figure out what her problem was, why was she even taking orders? Was she covering for someone else? She was just miserable!

The other staff were amazing though, which is such a shame because it just takes one bad experience to ruin everything else. The Asian girl was really lovely, friendly, smiling when she was talking to us and bringing out food etc. and the other young lad coming out to us was so nice as well, the bar staff were excellent and friendly, polite - one of the barmen even said that they weren’t even in their work clothes and were called in today, working from 9am to past 7pm! And he was splendid, great customer service given his circumstances but that lady with the pony tail was just awful!! I feel upset having had to even interact with her.. the longer I think about her the worse I feel. Some people are just NOT suited for customer service! She should be behind the counter well away from people (and paying customers) because she brought her miserable attitude out on us for literally no reason. Did she come from Karen’s diner? And if she is the owner then I feel VERY sorry for the staff to have to work for somebody like that… they’re too nice to deserve...

Event Feedback - We had our engagement party at VPSC in early Jan 2022. The night itself was lovely and we had lots of great feedback, the staff on the night were exceptional. Unfortunately we cannot say the same for the events team/management in the lead up to our event. There was miscommunication, we were mislead to believe we could have certain items/agreements in place, they were un-approachable and not flexible to meet with (we never met with anyone in the lead up), there were many false promises (especially with set up, we ended up moving extremely heavy furniture an hour before our event started). We have never felt so under-valued as clients to a venue, even in a pandemic where we pushed on with nearly every restriction, dealing with the management/events coordinator was the most stressful part of our function. We even reached out to the owners prior to our event to express our concerns and hope for some reassurance which...

This place has an amazing atmosphere and such friendly staff! Me and my mum were very well looked after, offered blankets to keep warm outside and the service was quick. The servers were amazing! Very friendly and approachable, very accommodating and attentive to the guests needs.

The food was amazing! The pizza was so delicious, I could eat a whole one by myself and not feel bloated afterwards was amazing! The drinks were fabulously delivered, with A+ presentation! I really appreciate the adaptability of the drink order, as my mum was unable to have a certain ingredient, they took that ingredient out of the drink, and I am very thankful for that.

Overall, would definitely come again! I will have to bring my whole family here next time and I would consider this place for any functions that may come up in the...

We stopped for a full meal this time, don't let the quiet Sunday afternoon crowd deceive you! The menu whilst a little limited is done really well. Pizza is well made, the antipasto great, arancini full of flavours and the salads which are fine for a main course are creative. The only addition they could make is a meat dish that could be a main, not counting the burger! Well done!

A sneaky little gem, you won’t notice it from the street but come in from the race course and you’ll be surprised with wood oven pizzas, DJs spinning tunes, outdoor and indoor dining, and an extensive wine list! Come in the afternoon and enjoy an Aperol Spritz or come in winter and enjoy some lf their italian red wines. Overall recommend whether it is summer or winter
