Fantastic Sports Bar Experience with Delicious Food and Great Specials!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Britannia Hotel's Sports Bar, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! As a local, I was thrilled to discover the recent refurbishment, which has transformed this place into a haven for sports enthusiasts and casual diners alike.

The atmosphere in the Sports Bar is energetic and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a casual lunch. The variety of meal specials available was impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, a refreshing salad, or some tasty finger foods, the menu has something for everyone.

One of the highlights of my visit was the selection of feature beers. The Britannia Hotel has an excellent assortment of beers, both local and international, ensuring that there's always something to satisfy your taste buds. Pairing my meal with one of their recommended beers was an absolute treat.

Sports enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise here. The large TV screens, broadcasting live sports matches on Foxtel HD, create an immersive viewing experience. The quality and clarity of the screens truly enhance the excitement of the game, and the sound system ensures that you don't miss a single moment of the action.

For those feeling lucky, the TAB facilities offer a chance to try your hand at betting while enjoying the vibrant ambiance. Additionally, the availability of SA Lotteries facilities until late is a convenient perk, adding an extra element of entertainment to your visit.

Let's not forget about the Happy Hour! From 4pm to 6pm, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays), The Britannia Hotel offers an incredible Happy Hour with fantastic drink specials. It's the perfect time to relax with friends, enjoy a refreshing beverage, and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Overall, my experience at The Britannia Hotel's Sports Bar was exceptional. The friendly staff, delicious food, great specials, and fantastic sports viewing options make it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. I highly recommend stopping by for a memorable dining and...

After searching for the perfect place for my fiancé and I to hold our engagement party we finally found the Britannia Hotel. I can not speak highly enough of them, the functions manager was extremely patience and accomodating to me.

One of my guests has a few allergies and they organise - free of charge! - a seperate platter of food that he was able to eat, cooked separately from all other foods especially just for him! They were accommodating and allowed me to bring in my own deserts.

They moved all the furniture to exactly how I wanted it, allowed me to decorate the venue to execute my vision (although the new renovations were beautiful enough) and worked with my fiancé to get the photos of us up and running on the big screen!

The food was absolutely phenomenal with all of my guests making wonderful comments about it. It was very VERY affordable compared to other places and so much food was included.

The functions manager created our own personalised subsidised drinks menu for our guests and the bar staff were so friendly and fun throughout the night.

The team at Britannia made me feel very confident in their abilities to provide everything needed which was one less thing I had to worry about on my big night.

Another one of my guests lost her earring throughout the night, we made it aware to the staff and manager and they continued to keep their eye out for it days after the event and were able to find it for us. The staff go above and beyond to ensure guests are happy.

Once again I can’t recommended the team at Britannia enough and my fiancé and I will DEFINITELY return.

A HUGE Thankyou to the staff and functions manager at the Britannia for a wonderful night, and a night my fiancé and I will...

Went with a mate on a Saturday afternoon to watch the footy. Surprisingly, we were about the only ones in the beer garden area. I grabbed a menu, a seat, and ordered a beef schnitty. Did not at all appreciate being yelled at by Rebecca (Bec), apparently the shift manager, who took offence to me questioning why I was being charged an extra $2 on top of the advertised $19.95 for a beef or chicken schnitty, chips, AND your choice of gravy. (I ordered mushroom gravy). Rebecca explained this as a typo on all menus, and that gravy was an extra $2. I explained in principle, if you advertise a price you need to honour it. Rebecca angrily, yelled “ just give him the $2 - while walking away yelling “thank you, thank you - then slamming the office door. Venue and food was fine - the staff however need a lesson or two on customer centricity - very poor...

Soon as I walked in I thought to myself, "Oh it's a real pub," with genuine relief. I'm from outta town and I'm here to see a few concerts and the V8s (Day 4, November 2023). I like pubs with pokies and decent and uncomplicated food menus and all the normal beers. I don't gamble and I like a fancy beer. But, ya just gotta get into the real stuff sometimes. When I stay at Bathurst, we stay at The Railway. It's a real pub too. Thanks for the beer and barside chips, and thanks Angelica for complimenting my pink mullet, you're an angel.

Best front bar, plenty of tab Happy hour 5-7 every day and 12-3 Saturday and Sunday. Has since been updated, well the front bar and now it's near perfect. Place has a great feel and the staff truly are excellent. Often have food specials in the front bar which are higher than just a pub meal. $18 for whiting for example, or a pint and parmy $$19. Reasonable gaming area of you like that, and with the new outdoor area summer afternoon's are even better.
