Always amazing food and typically amazing service here. Been here a few times with mentors of the past and dropped in with my partner. Thankyou for doing what you do best and doing the most... despite kitchen almost closing 💗 Amazing coffee, partner was delighted and surprised by how strong it was (usually he has 2+ but found 1 to be very much right on the dot and didn't need another through the day!) Food... I've never seen him get or ask for extra hashbrowns... whatever you're doing there, continue doing it. I've had them at Commissary in the past and they've been good also x

Food - a solid 10/10.

Nutter butter drink is a solid 10/10 and if you're not too hungry, that in itself could certainly serve as a meal on its own as its quite a thick drink and filling too. I got an espresso shot added and couldn't taste it... though I didn't get the caffeine either so I'm not sure if that was missed and neither of us checked the receipt as we had to head off. I will say an extra straw or a move to bamboo straws would be amazing (management)? Mine started falling apart... If you're allergic to peanuts, this drink is not for you... if you don't like chopped peanuts at the bottom of your drink also... this isn't the drink for you... though I'm not sure if they would do it without the garnish of chopped peanuts (that would be preferable to myself)

Eggs Benedict is always solid and good.

The 1 negative I have to say... is that the bread both of us had was perhaps toasted a bit much... tad too tough to cut with the knife's provided. Please please please fix this. It's literally the only negative I can say about the establishment and their foods and drinks and service. Service is 10/10 and they are always friendly... though last few times I have gone, staff have always opened the door for us to leave and sometimes to enter. Staff did not open the door this time on either way nor attempt to do so...

Woman who served us stressed of whether correct order was put in and earned biz more biz lol. She got the order correct and was lovely to deal with ❤️

Thankyou! Will be back...

The food and the coffees were good. Unfortunately the service was not. I get it was a busy Sunday brunch time, but making it apparent you want us out the door before everyone is done eating is not okay. We had a waitress take a plate with food still on it, and had 3 seperate waitresses ask us if we wanted anything else (coffees or dessert when 4/5 peoples plates were taken). And not in a helpful good service way, they all seemed annoyed that we were still sitting down. (And I’m talking the MOMEMT our plates were picked up) when we were leaving I didn’t even get a chance to stand up before two waitresses came over in a hurry to clean the table while I was still on it. For context we were a big group and were there for only 50 minutes total.

I get your busy, but there was no big line up. Only one group waiting who had only just entered the door. If you had just relaxed- we would have been getting up to leave within the next 5 minutes regardless but we felt so rushed, it really dampened the feeling of the morning when we were getting there for a birthday...

Very good coffee😋

Every time I was driving my car and passing through Fullarton Road outside this cafe on weekends, I saw this cafe was always busy and packed with customers. I passed by today at 9am and saw it was less busy, so I went there to enjoy a coffee.

It looked like they were busy on weekends as during check-in, I was told that most of the empty tables were booked except a few inner ones without street view. I said I only needed 20 mins to finish my coffee, so eventually the accommodating staff still offered me a window side table.

I don't usually eat breakfast. Based on the menu, it looks like they have quite a big variety of choices for breakfast and lunch. It looked like most customers came here, were returned local customers with big group of family and friends, aimed for their great breakfast.

I recommend booking if you want to come and try their breakfast or lunch. For enjoying a coffee only like me, I prefer visiting some other cafes that offer a more relaxing atmosphere as just having a coffee here could be...

Recently had brunch at Commissary and had a relaxed dining experience here . I do tend to go after the breakfast rush , and my companion pointed out that they actually have soundproofed the place , meaning that you can have a nice conversation while you eat . There is indoor and outdoor seating here if you prefer to sit outside on the deck , and we were greeted straight away at the door . Commissary has their own coffee blend , which was nice , and you could certainly taste the caramel in the brew . I had the Sautéed Greens , which was a mixture of broccolini, spinach and green onion , garnished with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and crispy kale ( which I love) and added some poached eggs for protein , which were perfectly cooked . They do have some sweets in the cabinet , ( I was told most things were made gluten free) as well as a batch a freshly baked muffins sitting on the counter . It was a nice relaxing meal to start the day , very fresh and filling .
