The cafe was quiet, with customers at one other table when we ordered. It took at least 20 minutes to receive our hot drinks, and another 10 minutes after that, to receive an item from the cabinet. It is not a place to visit if you have time constraints. What further disappointed us, when we went to pay before leaving, was to be charged $8.50 for a weak pot of tea. It had no tea leaves or bag in the pot. This is gross overcharging. I have never been charged more that $5.50 at any cafe. When I questioned the price, the staff member stated, that was the price for a pot of tea. We checked the walls, tables, and counter. There are no advertised prices for drinks. It is interesting to hear a staff member state, they have been a lot quieter in recent times....

We were advised over the phone earlier in the morning that they would only have a simple menu available on the day, which was fine by us, so we ordered the charcuterie plate and a cocktail each. The charcuterie plate was sooooo good we ordered another (which we were told had never happened before) and the cocktails were so fresh and tasty my partner had another 2 and I had a glass of Prosecco and a Rosé.
