Food is good. Shocking service. The staff didn’t even bother to wipe the table or put napkins or even cutlery once they picked up old dishes from the table.
We noticed 7-8 different customers that complained as they were paying their bill because each of them had at least one item that they didn’t receive with their order. Worst part was the staff didn’t even bother to apologise to any of them.
To top it off the staff member purposely started shouting in the kitchen saying “Customers are not being corporative” and they were complaining about the customers to each other in front of a restaurant full of people and everyone could clearly hear them. This was really awkward and at this stage we weren’t even sure if we wanted to order anymore.
This could possibly be due to every single customer not receiving their order on time and MISSING items.
This isn’t a once off incident, we have been going there for years and the service keeps getting worse.
You really need to spend more time in training and educating your staff on how to provide good customer service. You are still a long way from “good” so for now focus on “Proper” service at least...
There are multiple restaurants in Adelaide that have amazing customer service but no customers, but in your case it’s the worst service and the only reason people visit is due to good food however your luck might eventually run out of you don’t improve your...
Read moreAs per Google, it was noted that this place closes at 10pm and we arrived at about 8.20pm. Order: When we were ordering the lady at the counter kept hurrying us even though we just took the menu and kept asking if we are done. We were not given enough time to look through the extensive menu.
Food: They arrived quick enough. The chilli idly was OK, not spicy as they claim it to be. Kerela parotta was nothing special as compared to a frozen prata you get from the shops. Vadai & kadai cashew vegetables was 👍🏽 good. Unfortunately, the goat curry they served was the killer of everything else. The raw smell of the meat was still present. Meat was not cooked thoroughly - flagged this to the chef and the lady - nothing was done and they laughed about it!
Service: She kept hurrying us to eat finish and she said they were meant to close at 9pm and it was 8.55pm. If she could have told us at the beginning when we were ordering that they will close at 9pm, we wouldn't have ordered 13 items. We would definitely have kept the order to a minimal or gone somewhere else more hospitable to dine. She expected us to pay for the goat curry that was undercooked and raw.
Will not recommend this place to anyone who wants good service and values...
Read moreUsed to be really good South Indian food eatery but overtime degraded at a level we decided to stop going their. Now, average food - specially south Indian but this is where the good part ends.
The cleanliness and hygiene is really questionable. The tables are sticky. You can find food scrape on the floor. Basics like water and tissues are never available on the table, no Cutlery or seasoning(salt/paper), dirty menus. I saw, this is a consistent feedback but the owner does not care. I am surprised how it has such high score on google!
A typical wait for 30 minutes seems to be a norm. Single person trying to manage the kitchen and one person serving. You can hear the chef shouting and screaming on staff. Its really bad.
Customer services is going down significantly. Rude and arrogant over the phone.
During Covid times, it is even worst. As regular customer, we try and support them. But Vinos arrogance is at its peak. They do not want to take the booking or provide indication of how busy they are over the phone. When you reach there, the response is really rude and dry - wait for atleast an hours! Even after that no guarantee!
Well all good things come to an...
