Zitto — Restaurant in Adelaide

What can i say about Zitto? Well there isn't much I can add to what hasn't been said before, this isn't your average Cafe. It's a diamond in the rough, a beacon of hope, it's the grass which is greener, it's a four leaf clover in a giant field of threes, it's the brightest star in the sky. When I think of Zitto I think of class and prestige, it just isn't a "cafe", it's a family.

Have you ever fallen in love before? No? Well let me tell you, i do, every Friday night as I make my way towards Zitto, my heart flutters when I know as soon as i walk through the doors I'll be greeted with a smile, a warm welcome and the smell of perfection, it brings a metaphorical tear to my eye. I can only preusme that the staff have been hand picked from what i could say is the best of the best. I walk towards the counter and I hear what can only be described as "fire" coming through the speakers, you could swear that what you are listening to was stolen straight off your own Spotify playlist, it's magical. I slowly make my way towards the counter, I pick up a menu and not to my surprise its pure heaven. Its filled with a wide range of quality meals and an all day breakfast list, I know right! How amazing! I sit down on one of the many padded benches and choose my meal of choice, "heart stopper" As I wait for what only seems minutes my food arrives, it looks like it was hand crafted by a god, food fit for a champion. I spend my whole week looking forward to this burger and after I've finished I spend hours within this palace with my friends. Did you know they have Uno there also? What even, anyway, as I write this review I look back at the countless memories I've made and all the ones I will make.

As a final note i leave you with this, the key to happiness isn't money, it isn't the praise I receive for being an accomplished semi profession high fiver, no.. its family, and I consider Zitto to be my new family, my new second home. Zitto Tea Tree Plaza most certainly has left a bitter taste in my mouth.. hard to believe Golden Grove store is under the same management. The quality of Tea Tree Plaza's meals are always a hit or miss, it's like the chefs do not care or read the dockets for the customers requests. You say you care about the dietary requirements and customers yet almost every time I've had to send back my meal because they have made it incorrectly. Almost every time myself or someone I know has gone to Zitto they have had to wait 40+ minutes for a meal (sometimes things simple as a toastie even) and then when the meal comes out you have poor staff running around like head less chickens trying to find the table.. whatever system you have in place (seems like you do not have one) ISNT working. You need to fix this and start reading your reviews as wait times / quality aren't your forte and TTP Zitto is really putting a dent in the hard work Golden Grove Zitto did to get the amazing reputation they have now, seriously needs to be sorted. I feel sorry for the poor staff it all seems like a mess and like they just cop the complaints left right and centre, looks VERY unprofessional. And apologies to Golden Grove for posting this on YOUR review page but Tea Tree Plaza doesn't even have anything set up to post.. as if ttp Zitto doesn't even exist. Don't think I'll be coming back to TTP Zitto. Might just stick to Golden Grove unless their quality now matches the TTP store then I won't be back anytime soon to in fact any Zitto store. I have been to other zitto before but been here 4 times, and 3 times there have been problems with my order. More specifically with eggplant schnitzel for some reason. Some are understandable but some I feel are not helping themselves. 1/ Came with friends and ordered an eggplant schnitzel. After my friend received their orders, was told they are out of egg plant schnitzel and was asked to order something else. This means I finally received my food when my friends finished theirs. 2/ On another occasion I ordered eggplant schnitzel with gravy which came with parmi (ham + cheese) which I didn't ask for. The waitress then proceeded to educate me that they normally serve with parmi as a default unless we ask them not to. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I scraped the parmi off and it made me wonder if they understand why some people order eggplant schnitzel. 3/ Lastly today, I again ordered a plain eggplant schnitzel with gravy to give it another go. Once the order arrived, they told me they were out of gravy. I honestly wished they had told me earlier as I would've happily changed my order to something different, as I wasn't willing to eat anything that I didn't ask/pay for anymore.

I've had other food at other zittos and they serve good food. However, I am very much done with this eggplant schnitzel situation at golden grove zitto. Please improve on customer communication and aim to inform customers earlier so that you are not wasting food by serving customers orders that are incomplete and not asked for.

Fooled me thrice, learnt my lesson, got the message. I won't be returning...
