ESP Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Alstonville

The owner spoke over me when I entered the cafe, exclaiming about his cleaning abilities as he was cleaning the front window during service hours.

I was ignored and wasn't pioritised at the counter. I was name called endearingly but this made me uncomfortable as the owner made no attempt to make conversation or get to know me.

The owner snapped and berated an employee in front of customers as they were arriving with heavy shopping bags. It appeared the owner wasn't doing any work, just waiting for his employee to return.

Coffee was unsatisfactory and not enjoyed due to the environment. Please improve how you speak to your staff and...

Would’ve been 5 stars but it’s honestly not the same since that yelling ADHD Midget left. She made the best coffee (nobody makes it with warm tears like her) I miss walking in for the 100th time and her still not remembering my coffee order (it’s been the same for 5 years) I heard that Ash & Eden miss her so much they go into the crying room sometimes throughout the day to mourn her. I can’t believe Ash is still open after the loss of his adopted daughter. At least he has Eden to help him through it (for now) But besides all that, they make amazing coffee. I’ll definitely continue to go here (as soon as I get my license back) :) xxxxxxx...

You go to ESP for the excellent coffee and a bit of a show. The staff, including the owner, are really nice, friendly people but quite loud. Can seem a bit off hand, but they're not, they're good. Sit back and enjoy the coffee (made with care!!) and don't take the performance...
