The only place in Alstonville that does all day breakfast. It’s super unpretentious and so cheap for what you get that I didn’t have high expectations however, I needn’t have been worried. The scrambled eggs with mushrooms and spinach was really good and the bread was excellent quality. The large mixed juice hubby ordered came in an old metal milkshake container, it was HUGE and incredibly cheap at about $10. The bonus was we made friends with the resident water dragon who was very partial to bacon and eggs 😊

I came into town looking for somewhere spontaneous to grab some delicious food. Made the perfect choice to stop at Options, the atmosphere is friendly, comforting and welcoming. The staff are wonderful and interactive including George (the lizard) absolutely recommend you come here. The food is incredible 💙🦎

My favourite cafe in Alstonvale ! It is real. Super comfortable and easy going local staff. They're not trying hard and that's what I love about it. Just Alstonville locals doing their thang :)

I looked up local cafes in the area with my customer where we decided to try Options for the first time for something different. I had let the lady know the coffee and biscuits were lovely and soon after she shared she was looking forward to celebrating her family members 92nd birthday. Me being nice I replied "Wow 92, what an exciting milestone to be celebrating that age" and its like she took total offence to what I said as she made a little look and said "Milestone.. that's a funny word for someone young of your generation to be using. For someone who's only done a few kilometres" and then tried carrying on initiating this kind of talk with my customer "we've done alot of miles so we know, but she's only done a few kilometres" My customer didnt know what to say in response. And she even questioned me why I had used such a term (milestone). The lady totally missed my compliment and took the conversation toward the total opposite direction by rambling on about my choice of word 'milestone'. It was very bizzare. Such a shame as we were looking forward to trying some place new and having an enjoyable experience - however the service had left me with a sour after taste unfortunately. I was planning to purchase more on my way out but changed my mind after that. Not sure I'll...

Had the worst experience there. Went there with my nan for morning tea, got served the wrong thing and it took 20 minutes to even get our food. Then when I got my food I ordered, it was a caramel tart, it had a dollop if chocolate on top and it tasted like off milk, it was sour and tangy and just revolting, the whole experience was just awful. Would not recommend anyone to go back there. Service was poor and the food was even worse!!!! And there was soooo many flies!!! Definitely won’t be going back and will be telling all my friends to stay clear...
