D&M’s Bakery Cafe. — Restaurant in Angaston

Nice food on all occasions, the offerings across the menu are all enticing and really good choices. Perhaps a little expensive for what is delivered in terms of quality, quantity and service. On two visits, front of house staff have appeared disorganised, unsure and clunky in service. We ordered and paid for salad on the side of an order and it didn't come, this was received with argument and denial by the person serving us. The dining room isn't fabulous and tables weren't cleaned or cleared. Expect a little better from a venue with price...

Very disappointed - had waffles/strawberries/cream. The waffles were very overcooked (bordering on burnt) and tasted strongly of baking soda. There was only a very small number of strawberries. The cream was lovely, but not enough to cover the off flavor of the waffles. The staff was reluctant to top up a pot of tea with hot water. Would have sent waffles back, but they were busy and I didn't have...

Just average food absolutely nothing to write home about. The coffee was also weak and lacked any sort of taste (no idea how they achieved this) Partner ordered a sausage roll which was lacklustre as well. What was most disappointing was the presentation; the plates had visible scratches and I don’t understand how they could present their dishes in these...
