Fed up with this place. We are huge fans of Guzman y Gomez but this is the last time we'll be coming to Haynes for it. There's always something wrong. Every visit. I've experienced it all now... stale chips, burnt coffee, skimping on meat or toppings, poor/sloppy food presentation, wet takeaway bags/boxes covered in food on the outside.... Makes one wonder what the hygiene standards are. This visit I was one of just 3 cars in the drive through and they did not appear to be busy inside either. I ordered two mini enchiladas (one chicken and one beef) got all the way home, opened the boxes to find there was no salsa, guacamole or sour cream on top of either enchilada (those toppings are always included as part of the meal at no extra cost) yet they still charged full price 😭 Also they got the labels mixed up so I started eating what was labelled beef which turned out to be my partner's chicken order and he had my beef order that was labelled as chicken 😬 Luckily being partners we didn't mind swapping. Still I can't understand how they could mess up like this when they weren't even busy. It's just careless. After many previous bad experiences this was the last straw for us. We are located in Southern River so Haynes is our closest GyG, but from now on we will be driving the extra distance to the other establishments for better service. Read moreI order my food online in the morning to pickup for lunch break. Usually this saves me a lot of time as GYG is notorious for long waits. However, recently I've come to pick up only to find that the order wasn't ready and had to wait up to 10 minutes to receive it, while others who have placed their family sized order on the counter get there's on time.
The first time I shrugged off because I didn't check the status of the order before leaving. Maybe the 2 hour notice wasn't enough this time, it was busy. So the second time I ordered 4 hours before lunch and ensured the order status was green before leaving.
The order was not ready. The cashier did not provide an explanation for the contradiction, (if they did they were not audible) just lazily looked for it and walked off, giggling with their colleagues. Again I had to wait ten minutes to pick up.
Please refrain giving an order a "Ready" status when it actually isn't. Just like those that work at GYG, many of their customers also have a timed lunch break. Now I can't trust the website to accurately tell me my order is ready. At least give me a reason why I have to eat at my desk despite ordering hours...

The food is average and if you order ahead you can still expect to wait at least 20-30 minutes past the time the app says it will be ready. And tonight was the last straw. I went to pick up my order and it wasn’t in the warming drawer, it had been removed and taken out the back for some unknown reason, and was cold. When I asked why it was out the back, the female who served me said she thought it was a “wrong order” ??? And when I said it was not ok that it was cold, she argued with me and said “it’s fine it hadn’t been out of the warmer that long”. I asked to speak to the manager and he remade the meal, all the while the female who originally served me was making nasty comments about the situation, to the point that I said “don’t badmouth the customers” and she screeched back “I DIDN’T” and I said “I literally just heard you do that.” At that point I was so disappointed with the interaction I left.
