They reduced the large in size a while back which I accepted unhappily as it used to feed 2 people but it tastes very good and is a nice treat. I would buy more often but $16.95 for a meal that feeds one is a bit much to pay considering $20.95 feeds the whole 👪 family at KFC. Then yesterday I got my usual order which I love. Large Atlantic with three cheese. (recommended) You get cheese as a topping great I love cheese but you pay all that money and get a teaspoon of cheese? I am sure they could fill the little container and still make a profit. Not sure I'll go back with the smaller serve and tiny cheese topping. Included picture. No matter how good it tastes. Bring back the large tub and don't stings on the cheese. Regards Rik
I reply to your reply to my review you are WRONG as when you first opened you had a larger foam like material cup that stayed hotter. I even asked at the time if they had given me the wrong size and I was told that the large is now smaller and made of a different material. I am not talking now but about 4 years ago when you reduced size and I started buying less. But I kept buying as I love the taste. And your excuse of a full container being to much for some people there is no harm in filling it up and letting your customer decide how much cheese they want to use. Me personally ALWAYS like more than you give and go home and add more from my own Kraft Parmesan cheese container. For the price of cheese you can afford to fill it up for sure. I am always disappointed with the amount of cheese you give. I cannot give more pictures as I have eaten it duhhh, My review points out I feel your now too expensive as my wife corrected me it is now $17.95 gone up by one dollar. I been buying for a long time and did not realise the price has gone up so I am even more upset and more unlikely to buy again maybe once a year only as a treat now. So you lose one star for your high price and one star for your stingy cheese. And now you reply like this you will never see me again in your store. one less star now for not doing your recearch about smaller container and silly answer about a full container to much for some...
Read moreDon’t bother ordering from pastacup Haynes. Apologies for long post/rant.
Ordered the Milan macaroni on Uber which states tomato based sauce under the signature pasta section. Order arrives with cream based sauce.
Call up to get remade with what I’ve order and get told “it’s Ubers mistake” and that they can’t do anything coz it’s not on the menu with tomato based sauce. Argue with them that this is wrong coz it’s on the website this way too but get told “I’ll ask manager and get him to call you in 10”
10 minutes later no call and ring up only to be told manager says that they can’t do it and to refund through Uber coz it’s not on the menu….seriously beyond frustrated at this point. go into the store and see on the wall that it’s on the menu. Staff reluctantly agrees to remake but continues arguing how it’s Ubers fault and “we only see that as meaning cream” (referring to what’s on the receipt)
At this point I’d had enough and said not to bother coz not interested in eating where I’m just gonna be argued with when they didn’t even check the wall menu or website to understand my complaint. Like I get if there’s issues with labelling it on the Uber receipt and I don’t begrudge that but when I’m telling you it’s the wrong sauce and you’ve made me something I can’t eat (I’m lactose intolerant so can’t eat cream sauce) it’s really frustrating to be argued with repeatedly and makes me really not trust you touching my food!
Manager even tried to argue that no one had noticed that mistake until I had pointed it out and therefore they didn’t know. That “it has only been up for a few months” (aahhh how long do you need to notice?) I understand mistakes happen but to be argued with because of a mistake made by a staff is infuriating particularly when I showed him exactly where it is on both the store menu and Uber eats.
Staff was even stupid enough to ask me whether I wanted the food back! Glad I was already walking out the door or he would have had it all over...
Read moreInitial order was pickup 5:30 pm med Alfredo and sml Bolognese. My 4 year old girl is admittedly a picky eater but she normally loves homemade spaghetti Bolognese. Unfortunately this version was below par, I tried myself as did my wife and it was both vinegary and also strangely bland and the pasta was overcooked and soft. The owner was accommodating on my return to discuss at 8:30 pm after the dinner rush. I got a replacement veggie delight in time for Good Friday at no charge and left feeling more positive overall about the chain and this store. Being in business is hard and I respect the effort that goes in to Pastacup as a brand and this store but quality control and review is key to success and I hope that the chain consider ways to verify and train for their menu. It may be too complicated and difficult for franchisees...
