Gudjuda Deck Café — Restaurant in Ayr

Ok, I want to start this off on a positive note, the reception from front of house couldn't have been any better, the young lady was friendly and courteous. The coffee (when it arrived) was perfect, our piece of cake was Delicious with a Capitol D, and our friends brekkie wrap was awesome! Unfortunately, our coffee took 45minutes to arrive at our table, our cake was 10minutes behind the coffee and our friends wrap another fifteen minutes after that. So, our quick morning tea stop (while we were travelling down the coast) took an hour and ten off our day. At the twenty minute mark I enquired about our order and the young lady politely replied "I'll check on it for you"... I didn't have the heart to ask again so we just waited. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to eat here again- the food was That Good, I just wish they had communicated that there'd be a wait for...

OMG the best place in Ayr! Well the best place for miles around! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the delicious home cooked food, tarts and cakes. I had chocolate cream pie....the best!! So many great cakes and tarts to choose from.... The customer service was outstanding, smiling and happy down to earth people. Lovely artwork to. A deck outside or a small air con dining area inside. Love this place, wish I could bring you...

This cafe has really hit its stride. The food is first rate and the only thing better is the staff. They are absolutely brilliant. Sadly, with popularity comes overcrowding but if you do a little research and maybe go in slightly off peak times, you’ll have a quieter experience.
