McDonald's — Restaurant in Bacchus Marsh

Thank goodnes we decided to eat in as I ordered a cheeseburger which was only warm, returned to the counter to explain and request a replacement that was hot. Unfortunately, the second one was even less warm than the first!! I decided to speak with the duty manager, mid Sat morning, 28 Jan 2023, who requested a replacement to one of the staff in the food preparation/cooking area. I couldn't believe when I returned to our table, opened the bag I was given by the manager, and found it contained another barely warm cheeseburger!!!!! We were on our way to Melb and so had intended to drop in to McDonalds Bacchus Marsh, as usually you can be assured you know the food options and quality to expect. Not the case at this store on this morning. I also ordered a flat whitd coffee for my husband. When he removed the lid of the takeaway cup we had both couldn't believe it contained half a cup of frothed milk. Cafe staff need to know a flat white coffee is just that. It should not have froth, and certainly not half a cup full. I told my husband not to drink it and I returned to the cafe counter. I explained calmly that the coffee was meant to be a flat white and showed the two girls serving that the cup was half coffee and half froth. Neither the girl who had made it, nor the other girl who was serving when I returned apologised. They simply took the coffee from me and replaced it. Before leaving the store I used the ladies toilet. The outside of the white plastic toilet brush holder beside the stall I was using was filthy!!!! As I left the toilet I passed by the cafe and could see the filthy mess of the bench where the drinks were being made. I have been to many Mc Donalds outlets over many years and have never had such a negative experience. As we are not residents of Bacchus Marsh we have only visited the outlet a handful of times over the years. This McDonalds has gone downhill BIGTIME every time I have ordered in the last year and I don't exaggerate EVERY TIME something has been missing or cold or stale. The service here is terrible no greetings or goodbyes from staff In the drive thru the Order is pretty much thrown at you with no communication no smiling nothing. Is it not Procedure to Greet the customer with Hi How are you today ? and "Handed the bag repeat the meal and say have a great day" ? Hot Cakes I have bought the last 3 times have been stale on all edges and I mean rock hard ... no Use by date sticker on hotcakes anymore maybe this needs to be implemented again. My personal favorite asking for apples instead of Fries in the happy meal -get handed the happy meal in drive thru FRIES in the box I say it's meant to be apples as it states on the screen and hand it back they give me the Happy Meal back with FRIES AND APPLES is that a joke? someone clearly orders apples instead of fries for there child for a reason. Or what about when they park you and as you're pulling into park they bring your order out, far too concerned about times then customer service. I ordered a small Vanilla shake on top of a meal that was ordered My meal drink was correct they then handed me a small cup which i thought would be the vanilla shake to no surprise it was a half filled cup with half soda water half coke (Obviously Syrups needed to be changed) i politely explained I don't know what that is but I ordered a Vanilla Shake the boy took it back and handed me another Small coke. I must of stuttered ?then the third time we got there with the vanilla shake with no sorry or apologies yet again just handed it with no communication. This McDonalds is one of the worst I have been too the customer service here is Disgusting. Management really need to start picking up there game with training...

Does this Maccas ever get it right?! Ordered a Happy Meal. New promotion, you get a pack of Pokemon cards. My son was excited. But no! This store as always has none. Not sure when the promotion started but they gave him cookies instead. Got home and the nuggets hadn’t even been cooked properly, so had to throw them away. Ordered 2 large caramel sundaes. They didn’t have any caramel sauce. Then was given the sundaes, that did not look like a large sundae to me. Why have a small and a large if they are both the same?! If there’s one thing this place could do better, it would be to hire a management team that knows what they’re doing! If you visit this Maccas be sure to always check your order. Without fail, they will always mess something up. Once upon a time Maccas was a trusted company. Their staff were well trained and service was fast. Not anymore! Come to this drive through and on a good day, expect to be sat staring at the speaker, whilst you wait for a staff member to acknowledge you for five minutes or more. Go in store and order an ice-cream, expect to wait anywhere from 5mins plus whilst they give service to drive through, before bothering with their face to face customers.
