I recently dined at Satvik and, unfortunately, had a rather disappointing experience. I ordered the Dal Bati and Vagharelo Rotlo, but the quality and portion sizes were far from expectations.
The menu stated that the Dal Bati would include three batis, yet what was served barely resembled even one proper bati. The Vagharelo Rotlo was equally disappointing, consisting of only a quarter of a rotlo with what appeared to be store-bought tomato paste, which significantly diminished the dish’s authenticity and taste. Furthermore, the buttermilk was extremely diluted, almost indistinguishable from water.
To make matters worse, the restaurant serves food in disposable small dishes instead of proper crockery. This is particularly unsuitable for a curry-based meal, as it affects both the dining experience and overall presentation.
Overall, the meal did not meet basic quality standards, and the use of disposable dishes further detracted from the experience. I would not recommend this restaurant based...
Read moreDelicious food! We ordered the dabeli, vadapav and methi papdi sabji, paratha. All were absolutely delicious. Specially I liked dabeli so much and my wife really love vadapav., our server, was super attentive, on top of it and funny. She made the experience perfect. Also usually we order Kaju gathiya which is one of the supperb dish but server suggest us methi papdi on that day and methi papdi was such a mouth watering. she brought out the food all at the same time and brought us anything we asked for. Would definitely come back to this place! And lastly we ordered tava ice cream of pan flavour and believe me it was appetising. I recommend this place for all gujarati and punjabi food lovers and Also the nature of all person is so amazing. They make food by heart which make it more and more tasty and yes, one more and important thing, everyone following hygiene. And for summer, Mango lassi and Buttermilk are...
Read moreCame to know from some of my Friends who visited this restaurant couple of days ago for an Authentic Gujrati Food. I visited with my wife (we are not Gujrati but love the food) and I can tell you - I wasn’t disappointed. It’s authentic, home made, clean, and tasty. It’s difficult to find home cooked authentic food and visiting Satvik was everything I expected. It’s home run food so a bit delay was expected. We tried Undyu and it was amazing. Will surely visit again. I have been conservative while rated food and atmosphere because I found it quite impressive but I know it can be better as I have been in Gujarat. Atmosphere is good if you like a different rural touch and owner have managed to give similar touch in a best possible way, hats off to him. Do visit well in advance or call the owner if you are in a large group to keep few things ready in advance,...
