Just had a terrible experience from the Manager. I took my daughter and Grandchildren here for a meal after checking website what menu was for today and hours. Arrived at 4 to be told that bar meals were only available until 5. I explained and showed them website saying this was not shown. It was explained the they had put new menu etc to Web providers and they had miss putting right information on sites. Said they we could order our meal which was Mondays special. Thanked the manager and said not your fault. Recieved our meal which was nice but asked if I could have more dressing for salad and galic sauce. Was informed that I had to pay extra for galic sauce and needed to counter and order it and pay. I said to my family not going to bother as probably finish meal before it arrived. Nest thing manager place a small tub of sauce on table.Thinking that was nice of him. After our meal brought a bottle of wine from them and went to car. The manager comes up as I was sitting in car an says ,dud you pay for the sauce.Dumbfounded I said no. He talks his back and says don't come back for 6 maths. Our final visit to this restaurant was memorable for all the wrong reasons. We ordered their Surf and Turf, specifically requesting medium-rare, but received a well-done, dry steak instead. When questioned, the staff insisted it was medium-rare because one corner showed a hint of pink - a laughable defense for an overcooked meal.

The situation went from bad to worse when we tried to take the disappointing steak home for our son. The restaurant attempted to charge us $1 for a takeaway container, despite our nearly $200 bill for just three meals and drinks. When my husband pointed out both the overcooked steak and the absurdity of the container charge, the manager's response was shocking: we could have the container for free, but the owner never wanted us to return.

Even more astounding was the owner's justification that "everyone pays over $200 for food" so charging for takeaway containers is acceptable. This attitude is especially disappointing given our five-year history as loyal customers.

Bottom line: Overpriced food, poor cooking standards, and atrocious customer service. Save your money and dignity -...

Always loved this place but I believe it is under new ownership. The new owners I believe work there because they hover over you the whole time like hawks checking for plates. The even take the plates of food is still on it. They don’t speak to you and ask how the meal is or if the plate can be taken. The just assume. It’s horrible we had a large group of 15 (we booked a head) and the couple were just circling us the whole time. Taking kids plates with food on it. As soon as you paused they would try and take it. I always loved this place until now, now it’s just awkward.

They had already packed and cleaned by 8pm so it felt uncomfortable said it’s open until 10pm. The slept under our table while we were still seated. There wasn’t even food on the floor it felt more like and urgency for us to leave. We watched them wipe tables down and place the dirty chairs on top of the table. The bottom of the chair that’s been on the floor sitting on top of freshly cleaned tables.

This place is just sit. Pay. Leave. You’re not allowed to enjoy an arvo there without feeling...
