We initially found Old Quarter Coffee at our local coffee shop and quickly made it our go to favourite. Then we discovered the Old Quarter Coffee subscriptions . Life was even better as we waited for our fresh bag to arrive at our door each fortnight. For our first subscription, we chose the Roasters Choice, giving us the opportunity to taste the variety available, as a different blend greeted us each delivery. This is a great idea as a starter and also a great idea as a gift to the coffee lovers in your life. Our second subscription took us back to the Village, our longtime favourite. I got a ham, cheese, tomato & spinach toastie, and husband got the Cheeky Boy (a beef wrap with sriracha sauce). And we noted lots of vegan options to modify many of the menu items to suit dietary needs. The single origin batch brew from Myanmar seemed to have been sitting there for some time as it had lost a lot of heat, but in fairness we came on a Tuesday morning where it may not have been in as-high demand. The batch brew had beautiful notes of sweet date and yeast, bringing out lots of bright and sweet flavours. The chai latte was creamy and had a good balance of spices and sweetness.
