6/1/21: Super cute little place and lovely staff! Staff are really nice and helpful. Great place if you’re vegan or vegetarian but this place doesn’t seem to be up my alley. Got my go to Iced Caramel Latte however they don’t have caramel syrup they only have a caramel stevia which has a bit of a weird taste to it but it did the job. A little steep in prices but that’s expected in Bangalow. Would love to come back and try the waffle as unfortunately they didn’t have it today! 8/1/21: Came back today for a second try and I had the hibiscus soda and it was amazing! Definitely my fav thing i’ve had here. I also managed to have the waffle today, just got the kids size as I didn’t want a lot. It’s good for a ‘vegan’ waffle but in terms of general waffles i’ve definitely had better. As mentioned before their prices are a bit steep, and staff were friendly like usual! Something to note this time was I was seated on the boardwalk and as people walked by the table would wobble which was a bit annoying but that’s not necessarily their fault just something to think about. Overall it was a good experience, like mentioned before though this place isn’t really up my alley so I probably won’t be back but if you’re Vegan or Vegetarian this would be a great place for you!

We stopped by WOODS in July for a cosy brunch and it was such a lovely experience. Sat at a little table tucked under greenery, with a nice warm sun glow coming through. We had the full breakfast with salmon, eggs, avocado and veggies and also tried their burger, which was one of the best I’ve had in Australia. The mango coconut smoothie was spot-on, and the cold brew coffee with coconut milk was really nice. It’s definitely on the trendy (and pricey) side, but the vibe is worth it. Cute, stylish, and one of the coolest spots in Bangalow. After brunch we wandered over to the nearby record store and craft shops, which was a nice experience and our first time poking around that part of Bangalow. A charming find and highly recommended if you’re passing through town. My Instagram: @BenCanTravel My Youtube: @BenCanTravel

One of the best cafes I’ve been to in a long time anywhere in Australia and definitely the best in the Byron Shire. Charming setting amidst a bunch of “hipster sheds” and courtyards with plenty of outdoor seating - perfect for the winter sunshine. Service is friendly and full of positive vibes. Menu is creative and very interesting with lots of eclectic options and specials. All of the breakfast egg dishes were delicious and bursting with flavour and perfectly seasoned. The homemade cakes were also amazing, including the white chocolate matcha tea cake and the peanut butter and fudge brownie. Looking forward to coming back many more times whenever I’m passing through the Shire. Came back a year later and remains equally good!

I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough I rarely write reviews and this one is belated admittedly (apologies Woods team!) but the food and service here is amazing so I had too! I had checked in prior to booking that the menu could be catered for dietary requirements such as gluten free and when I arrived I spoke to my waitress about suitable dishes for Coeliacs and she was so helpful and reassuring. It makes such a difference when you can eat out and have peace of mind so I really wanted to say thank you to the waitress (apologies I didn’t catch her name) for taking the time to go over the menu and liaise with the chef and kitchen staff to ensure the dish was suitable. The food was delicious, compliments to the chef and kitchen crew and managers for creating such a wonderful place to...
