McDonald's — Restaurant in Bargara

Worst mcdonalds i have taken my family to in my life service was digusting ordered our food was given a table num 5 sat with children in play area waited at least twenty mins my wife entered store to find our food sitting at counter jacinta who i found out was manager asked my wife if our number was 161 clearly having no idea what was happening she helped my wife bring food outside which she threw on a table in a huff one of our childs toys got stuck in playground unopened i asked her if it was ok to receive another she agreeed and never returned while we were all eating our cold meals and upset child without toy she never returned i entered store to ask if she was coming out to see everything crumbling under her control other people food cold drinks wrong in drive through total kaos everywher .then to see her leave the store in total uniform having a smoke which is totally uncouth being in hospitality myself for 25 years and worked for maccas as a junior this goes against everything maccas is i then rang i rang the store later in the evening a number of times with no answer i finally got through to have her answer the phone to complain about my experience after listening to my complaint she was not helpful at all i said to her i will speak office she quoted good luck with that will wait to hear from them very rude and...

If I could give a lower score I would. As an ex manager of a MacDonalds family restaurant the experience at the Bargara store was appalling! We arrived at the stores drive through on Sunday the 13th April 2025 at around 6 p.m and proceeded to join the line at Drive through but after a full 15 minutes and not one car moving I decided to turn out and park to dine in. I was served face to face and purchased 3 children’s happy meals and a double cheeseburger. We proceeded to wait and wait and wait. 40 minutes pass. I enquired about my order and they said it is coming. I continue to wait and my order was number 120. After 125 was called I enquired again. To be told it was next. I was them given a bag with all the food literally thrown in it. No happy meal boxes, no Toys, NO CARE!!!! I had to ask for the toys. I have attached a photo! Shame on you Bargara! After an hour we finally had our good which was so cold and dry and totally disgusting!! No I did not return it! I fed it to my grandchildren as they were famished. Waited 5 minutes at the speaker box before anyone took our order, then the guy taking our order couldn’t hear us so went to the window - no problem. Waited in the waiting bay for 15 mins before food bought out, no drinks. Waited another 5 mins for drinks and informed the young lady 3 items of our order were missing. The young lady said she would be right back - another 15 mins go past - as I’m walking in to ask for new food that isn’t cold, I’m met with a young man with the rest of our order. I ask him for a replacement because our food is now 30 mins old - he states the food has been replaced and is in the bag. Get in the car and open the bag there is 1 fries when our order consisted of 3 and an apple pie - something we didn’t even order. Get home and there is NO sauce on any of our burgers, our food was completely inedible. I have never left a google review but felt compelled to write this review out of sheer disgust. We wanted a quick meal while on holidays and ended up going hungry and wasting 40 mins of our lives sitting in a waiting bay and over $60. Only giving 1 star because I can’t give zero....
