Lovely ambience early in the evening but got very noisy after 7.00pm. Terrific super friendly service albeit a little confused sometimes with orders arriving on a wrong table but quickly corrected. Ordered Tom Yum Soup (fabulous), and Mark's Spicy Pork Mince and Sizzling Seafood. Both disappointing, particularly as the sizzling did not sizzle when it arrived on the table. The dish was placed in the centre of the table wrapped in duck feature foil. When queried, we were advised it was the authentic Thai way. The mince was delicious but did not have a wow factor unfortunately. Not a bad night overall but we decided we would not go back. Owner's response below was that it was Exotic Seafood. This is worse. And with no apology. We SPECIFICALLY requested SIZZLING Seafood which is my absolute favourite. The Foil pack was delivered on our table, and we waited till the waitress returned so we could ask where our Sizzling Seafood was - and what the Foil pack was. The waitress looked embarrassed and told us that it was the Sizzling Seafood done Thai style. After reading your response, it is such a shame that you, the owner will not own up to a mistake by the waitress in taking our order as it now indicates. Food was just Thai food I could get at any other Thai food restaurant. I was promised a one hour delay which I excepted ended up being two hours I watched tables arriving and being served their food while I waited for my takeaway food Other takeaways were being served and this annoyed me Our simple order of Spring rolls Chicken satay and a stir fry barbecue beef simple to me but it had take entire two hours. Yes I am a chef and Watched what the kitchen was doing and would be more critical. But there’s no excuse for offering a one hour delay ending up being two hours.
