Best cafe and lunch bar in Inglewood, no contest. What you get for what you pay is unrivaled by anything else in the area.

Personally I'm a big fan of the bacon and egg sandwich for brekkies and the lemongrass chicken bahn mi for lunch which are bargains at $7 & $8 respectively but my mom's bigger on the burgers. There's an overwhelming amount of other options if neither of those tickle your fancy from noodle salad to omelettes.

But what's a cafe without good drinks and I'm happy to tell you Vin & Van deliver, the chai latte is leagues better than the one I got just one door down and the mocha is a perfect companion for a rainy winter morning.

If you're willing to spend a bit more though the "Vietnamese Cafe" iced coffee is more pricey than the hot drinks but the flavour is to die for on a warm December afternoon and to the degree it prompted me to write this review to sing it's praises, although it is quite strong according to my mother who isn't nearly as big on the bean as I am. I’ve been coming to Vin & Van Cafe for many years, and it’s easily one of the best lunch bars in the area. The food is always fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. My personal favourite is the chicken laksa, but their Vietnamese banh mi rolls are just as incredible. I also really enjoy their rice paper rolls, samosas, and spring rolls, they’re always fresh and taste homemade.

They offer both dine-in and takeaway, and the dining area is clean and comfortable. When standing at the counter and looking into the kitchen, you can’t help but notice how extremely clean and well-organised everything is.

This is a favourite for staff lunches and has been for some time. Therefore we thought we would give them a try when it came to catering a recent global leadership summit event. Oh my goodness, unbelievable amount of beautiful quality food at an extremely reasonable price. This mattered since all of the delegates over $150 to be there for the day so we needed to make sure they felt taken care of. Many commented how lovely the food was.
