Came here to buy sliced watermelon, only whole ones in stock. Annoying owner pestered me into buying the whole melon at lower price per kg. Then kept talking about himself and how experienced he is in fruit and veg, proceeded to “show me” the new cherries he got in which I reluctantly came over to have a look to be polite. He continued to talk about how good the cherries are and push me into buying a whole box. When I said no, he made me feel bad by saying “oh I wouldn’t have wasted my time telling you this if you weren’t interest” Seriously dude? Get over yourself.

The store is filthy, run down and unmaintained. Flickering fluros everywhere and mismatched items all of the place. These guys can’t run a business, dodgy operators. I’ll never step foot...

I never give one star reviews but I honestly can’t understand how they have got so many five-star reviews, we’ve got some eggs from here a couple times and for some reason even though they have got a long expiry date half of the eggs are always rotten it’s like he swaps half the eggs over with old eggs to avoid throwing them out. I’ve had a look at the peanut and oriental section and there’s always little moths coming out of the bags and the owner is always trying to sell me what he is eating at the cash register. I moved to this area not long ago so I thought it’s very nice to have a fresh fruit and veggies shop in the area. But my experience so far is really really bad... I bought watermelon other day and it was stale... I had to throw that in the bin. Yesterday I went there to buy few items and to my disappointment the honey soy sauce that I bought from there expired in year 2019. Pack of 3 pre packed capsicums that I got from there was rotten completely not even one capsicum was ok to be used... I am so so...
