McDonald's — Restaurant in Benalla

Used Benella drive thru tonight, place order and was asked to park in waiting bay Order was delivered, to discover it was the wrong order. Attendant took food and returned to store, after waiting for 10 minutes I went inside to follow up on the order. The staff were oblivious to my presence while throwing straws and wrappers at each other. The same attendant had no idea what the order was or that it had not been corrected and bought back out to the car. The duty manager and himself prepared the order, and bagged it up. When we proceeded to eat the food the chips were soggy and cold, the fillet of fish pattie was cold, dried out and hard. We rang the store as we were travelling home, the same duty manager answered the phone. When asked who we were talking too, as we missed his name, his reply was "what's up", we proceed to describe our unpleasant experience and the quality of the food that we had recieved, to which he sounded indifferent and matter of fact, he did say if the food was bought back he would replace the order. By this time we were a reasonable way out of Benella and had some distance to travel to get home, when we explained this he said he would organise a store credit at a location close to us. He said he would arrange the credit and get back to us, he rang back to let us know he could not get through to McDonald's in shep and would follow up on his...

The worst McDonald's visit of my life. After waiting instore for 12 minutes and watching many other orders placed after ours (which was only for 2 wraps and 1 fries) I approached the counter to check on my order. They'd missed/forgotten it, it had been cleared from the screen. No apology, just 'we will make it now'. At the 19 minutes it was brought over. I asked the young man if we could have a coffee or something to apologise for the almost 20 minute wait. He sent the shift manager, Alice, over. She stood over the table and glared. Not a word was said. No apology, nothing. So I said hi, we're after a coffee or drink please, given that we've waited 20 minutes, and had I not approached the counter, We'd never have received our food. Alice said no, we cooked it fresh, be happy with that. I replied fresh food is expected, as is fast...at a fast food restaurant. She said no, and again that we should be happy it was fresh. I then said please, coffees cost you all of $1 to make. She practically spat the words at ne that coffees are $5 something and stormed off!!! On top of this, there was rubbish on practically every table. This store is an absolute disgrace, and Alice needs some serious training, and a warning. I filled in a feedback survey on a qr code on my receipt and asked to be contacted. I haven't heard anything...

Drive through - Parked everytine I have been going to Benalla Maccas for over 12 months now, all be it not very often. My wife and I are parked every time, I literally mean I haven’t been through Benalla’s drive through without being parked, not once. We have probably only been 10-15 times in 12 months and almost always chose KFC across the road if we choose to have drive through meals, only because of the poor service at maccas.

To add to its poor performance, they will give us drinks, like frozen cokes for the kids, then park u for 10-15 minutes. Obviously the cokes are not so frozen by the time you get them home. The chips and burgers are consistently cold by the time u eat them, which makes u wonder why they parked u in the first place! Was it to cut up a pickle?

We tried again tonight, ordered two qtr pounder meals and two happy meals, so no special order by any means. 20 minutes from ordering to receiving our meal and everything was cold, even the nuggets which is why we were parked.

Benalla maccas is a disgrace to the Macdonalds brand. Maybe they need to go get some training from KFC just...
