We ordered chicken karaage in a bowl, but added extra $5 for extra chicken. It is much better. If you buy the standard karaage bowl, it will be small and it will basically be mostly fried batter with little chicken.
However today the senior lady is struggling to speak english. She was speaking too fast and not understanding what was being ordered. She comes across cranky.

The comments below were done 5 months ago. I decided to come back, and I ordered Salmon Teriyaki bento box for takeaway.
First, it took so long. I had to wait for over 30 minutes. I had to remind them. It would be good if they came to you and said how long further and apologised.
Secondly, although the Salmon Teriyaki was tasty, when I looked at the salad provided, I was disgusted. Look for yourself. I added a picture. My partner said the mosquito is dead. You should be safe. Should I be pleased? Should I be impressed?
Looks like nothing is new.
The most embarrassing Japanese takeaway. Whoever is their chef should really think hard and ask these question. Am I proud of my cooking?
We come here now and then and we always order the same thing. But all of a sudden, we've noticed drastic changes. I'm so disappointed.
We ordered chicken karaage, and we were beyond shocked. The little morsels on top of the rice were not chicken. They were just dough. We ordered and waited for so long. We asked for takeout. So it was wrapped. We drove all the way home, 25min later when we opened it, it was so light. To make it worse when you bite the supposedly chicken karaage, there was no chicken. All dough. Fried. So we complained. They knew straight we weren't happy with the order. They replaced it, so we went back there on our next visit and gave us chicken karaage again. Did it improve? No.
Whoever cooked it needs to make the real chicken karaage. I told them if they knew the KFC chicken popcorn? They said yes. I told them KFC chicken popcorn had more chicken than their chicken karaage, which is just flour.
We also noticed that when they were making sushi rolls, some of the rolls were already hanging by the edge of their table. Looks like making mass production. Then, one at a time, they were serving the counter with customer's payments. Yes, they were wearing gloves when handling money. But these same gloves, they go back to rolling their sushi after serving customers. So, are they wearing gloves to protect their hands from touching food? But it is OK to touch money and the money box with the same gloves being used for handling food.
Please cook real Japanese food you'd be proud of. No matter how small your business is, do...
Read moreI recently visited this shop and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received, particularly with the overcharging of my bill. The staff's excuse was that their menu had not been updated, which I found unacceptable.
The lack of transparency in their pricing is concerning and makes it difficult for customers to trust the establishment. I also found the staff's attitude to be dismissive and unhelpful when I raised my concerns.
Overall, I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I believe that a business should prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit....
