Silver Sushi — Restaurant in Western Australia

Palmyra- great food, have been coming for years. Although extremely poor customer service from the owner. A week ago I ate from here, suddenly falling ill, which resulted in me hugging the toilet bowl and missing a day of work the next day! 1 called the store the following day, Leon (owner) called me explaining how all the food was fresh, but maybe it was the Eel as it's high fat and my body may not have handled it properly.. he kindly said he would refund me the total of my order, and also follow up tue food with the chef then touch base with me. All was well. I was happier with the outcome as it seemed to be thorough and genuine. I have not received a refund and have been told that 'it's my fault I was sick. I sent a message following up my previous call, to which I now my messages can't be delivered. I sent a text and have been left on read. I don't normally complain, but this is poor on the owners behalf. I was happy with the original phone call and outcome as Leon was thorough with how he handled my situation, also investigating the possibility of spoilt food coming from his restaurant. First impression: the venue looked dirty, it has holes on the walls allowing mice or another pest go inside, which obviously can make you sick because of cross-contamination. So better not even think about the kitchen.

-There is NO toilet and the service was cold.

Anyway we decided to give it a go.

We ordered sushi with salmon and it came on top with a large amount of fish skin which it turned the sushi visually and sensory unpleasant. It looked like big pieces of snake skin. And I had to ask the girl over there what was all that mess.

The smell and the look was scary and suspicious and we didn’t enjoy it at all. It was the first time we went there. disappointed. The amount of fish skin was insane.

The flavour of the sushi rolls itself weren’t that bad but how it looked and smell made the food experience really poor.

I hope you can take this comment as a valuable feedback for improvement in all sense and please give some relief to the girl working on the cashier, also inside the kitchen and as a waitress. She looked exhausted because she had to do everything. This situation have a strong impact on the customer service that she is providing which it needs to be...

All free tables had past customers left overs, asked for a table and took 10 minutes to have our table cleared. They were far from busy all tables had left over dishes on them. Lazy imo. 10 tables that could have had a customer. Waited at a table and took 10 minutes to call the server over to please clear our table from the previous diners dishes. Had to asked to have our table cleaned because no tables were able to sit at clean, afterwards as the guy just took the dishes and the table had rice and gunk still over it. Had to ask him back to wipe the table as it had leftovers over the table. Even a toddler leaves leelss leftovers in a table.

I wouldnt have stayed unless I was on a date, but their cleanlyliness is disgusting.

If that is the way their table service is, I really question their kitchen...
