Casanova’s — Restaurant in Braidwood

Another superb meal here, just can't beat this place for both excellent food and excellent service. Today I had the Roast Chicken Sandwich, and I can tell you calling it that does not do it justice! Deb, my wife, had her usual French Toast (Autumn version, with stewed apple) and my sister had the Breakfast Garden Bowl, which she said was great. This place is consistently great! We had a late breakfast, hear today. This was probably our 10th visit. I had the Potatoe Rosti, which is served with, smoked salmon, eggs the way you like them and spinach fried off with pastasios. dropped in at approx 1.15pm on a monday .. particularly appreciated: the extremely long tap handle in the left-hand unisex toilet; the surprisingly ergonomic wire chairs outside; the numbers/letters printed atop the stools; the wildly unorthodox ratio of spout diameter to mid-neck diameter of the water carafe; & the way the greens remained fresh despite the warm/heated nature of the sandwich we ordered + subsequently consumed. zero progress made on crossword from late-november issue of 'the saturday paper', but this is largely indicative of our own inexperience re: cryptic clues & no blight on this calm +...

It was our first visit to Casanova's cafe+ bakery and we just loved it!The service was very friendly and menu is gourmet and so delicious with veg options.We sat in the gorgeous sunny courtyard which reminded us of nona's garden,a beautiful atmosphere and it is pet friendly so that everyone can enjoy Casanova's.We love it here and we will definitely return again.
