Nerson's — Restaurant in Braidwood

We ordered 3 items, a Croissant, a Chocolate Éclair and a Pizza. The Croissant was very small and a little tasteless. The Éclair was stale, and Nersons had somehow managed to remove all flavor from dark chocolate and whipped cream. We didn't bother waiting the 20 minutes for the Pizza.

We walked out after the disgusting attitude of the staff, when we complained about the éclair the staff told my wife she didn't know what they were supposed to taste like, she is a French trained pastry chef, and she couldn't provide a refund as we had taken a bite out of the éclair.

The also don't follow the Pricing standards of NSW as no prices...

Sadly disappointing. Staff were pleasant, but overshadowed by the quality of what we were presented. The order for a quiche and a cheese and bacon pie was substituted by something completely different and unfortunately tepid. The chocolate milkshake left a lot to be desired as it wasn’t mixed properly. The large cappuccino was full strength but the flat white was incredibly weak and quite frankly, not drinkable. The chicken salad sandwich arrived last ( a warned 15 minute wait on ordering but there were 2 other people present in the cafe) by which time everyone else with me...

Called in Sunday evening for a bite to eat. Really surprised and impressed. It was a rainy and cold night but the coffee (long black)pizza (BBQ Chicken) and the vibe of this place left me with a warm glow. The pizza was definately the best I have had in years. Easily fed two of us where as the chain options usually mean a pizza each. Thick based pizza was surprisingly crisp and the use of actual chicken was a happy delight. Being near the park means the kids can play while you wait...
