Very unique find on the way to Bateman's Bay from Canberra and an absolute gem. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and flowers with warm and cottage style ambience inside and interior is inspired by Nepal and Australia. Lots of seating area and all are beautiful with surroundings. This place welcome you with warm smiles and are happy to accommodate your taste in food and drinks. Just ask and you shall receive. 😄

When entered, we were welcomed by Karuna - the main man, he is very passionate and friendly person with very hard-working skills. We talked about his bussiness and many other things and he is very ambitious and kind with great goals for him and communityaround.

I can not recommend this place enough. As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed with warm hospitality. The guy behind the counter asked us about our weekend and explained the venue and cuisine before walking us through the menu. Very one on one personal approach and felt like we were being provided 5 star service. The signature dish of chow mein was made fresh by the chef to your preference of heat. The momos were probably the best i have ever had, perfectly cooked and with a delicious side accompaniments served on a silver tray. We shared a chow mein and the chicken was absolutely to die for. I have never had chicken so good, I don't know how they do it but I could live on the stuff. My partner and I were passing through Braidwood during our road trip late at night and ran out of fuel. Sadly, the service station nearby was closed so we decided to head into Smokey Horse for assistance. The vibe of this place was chill and gave a very homey feeling with all the Nepalese decor. There was also a fire pit outside to hang out and have drinks by. Karuna gave us a warm welcome and was extremely helpful getting us out of our sticky situation. We had beautiful dessert, amazing drinks, and the best company this night. Karuna consistently checked on us and provided the best hospitality.
