Our dining last night was a very average, 3 star visit....we ordered the burger and chips, and the pork belly bites along with the sticky date puddings for desert. The burger and chips were good, but the pork belly was pretty terrible. Pork belly is a favorite of mine and I order that type of dish from other restaurants often. I know it comes with fat, but not this much and usually with excellent flavors. This (entre size) however, was $22 for about 80% fat and a handful of nibbles of meat which were not exciting.
The chef would've been better to take it off the menu if that's the quality of meat that was provided to them.
Neither the waitress or the lady we paid at the end of the night asked how our meals were at any stage.
Disappointing, I don't think we will be back. *I'll finish by saying our visit last week was a much better experience all round, with really good food and friendly service. I did write a review for that via the link sent from the venue...

Service was not great, with one staff member more interested in cleaning glases and placing them where they lived (no shortage of glasses) than serving waiting patrons - rookie mistake. The same staff member couldn't pour a beer to save his life, and it took every bit of resolve not to tell him how to do it (having been brought up in and served in a couple of pubs). Thankfully, the beer was sorted by an experienced bar person who knew what she was doing. Overall, the experience was okay, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt and return in 2025 to hopefully get a...
