Acai Bros Kenmore — Restaurant in Brisbane City

When I first entered the store the music was really disturbingly loud, I stood there at the counter standing for a good 5 minutes they kept ignoring me although I had made eye contact a couple of times as I am a socially challenged person not once did they come up to me and asked if I’m ready to order. Once I told them, “excuse me I’m ready to order”, they ignored me 3 times before finally coming up, they did have a bit of attitude too. The açai bowl I had ordered was a medium isn’t enough to fill me up and has cost me $19.74 including gst the price that expensive you would expect the toppings to be free but it wasn’t at all an extra 50c for strawberries. I still gave them a chance expecting the açai to taste amazing at the price but it was horrible, it was sour and the acia was made though a blender the texture was horrible like wet sand and extremely sour, I could of made better açai at home using my own blender, you would expect them to use an açai ice-cream machine for good taste and texture, the texture was horrible, I would make a police report on how I got scammed on broad daylight if I could, if I wanted to have açai like this I would just grab wet sand and squeeze some lemon onto it and saved my money. Experience was absolutely horrible, everything is so unhygienic, floors inside look absolutely disgusting, tables and chairs are completely rusted it’s a biohazard and it’s only a matter of time before this açai shop closes down. Please for the love of god do not waste...

I recently visited Acai Bros in the morning, hoping for a refreshing acai bowl. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

I arrived at 9 AM when the shop was quiet, with just one other family ahead of me. Despite the lack of customers, my order took a frustrating 40 minutes to prepare.

When my bowl finally arrived, the fruits and acai didn’t match what I paid for. The presentation was lacking, and given the price, I expected a more generous serving. It seemed like the experience suffered from either understaffing or untrained staff.

I wanted to enjoy, but the long wait and lack of attention to detail made for a disappointing visit. I hope they can improve, as I’d like to give Acai Bros another chance—but for now, I can’t recommend it based on...

Each time I've been here the service has been atrocious. The young lady behind the counter was unfriendly, short and rude to my kids and I. She told my 12 year who casually lent on the counter (with clean hands)where we placed our order to not touch the bench and get her hands off because she just wiped it. Then after paying $50+ she said we cannot sit outside and have our afternoon tea as she wants to bring the table and chairs in. This was 3pm in the afternoon and wasn't closing. She just blatantly didn't want to do any work and stay on her phone and make it easier for herself. So rude and not deserving of...
