Arana Leagues Club is an outstanding "family friendly" Community based leagues club located at 247 Dawson Parade, Arana Hills. This club has one of the best facilitated local junior league football grounds (McKell Oval) on the North side of Brisbane. West Arana has been a long-term Junior Rugby League development club, which has produced many talented players over the years. A large number of juniors have gone through the age groups to progress to senior levels of Rugby League 🏉 Excellent parking is available in & around the Arana Hills Leagues Club premises. Parking is also available directly across the road from the Leagues Club in the Grovely Primary School precinct. There is a user friendly drop off point at the main entrance to this club. The Arana Hills Leagues Club is a great place to be able to relax & enjoy a meal. There is an excellent menu selection available that suits all dietary requirements. Fantastic bar facilities are available, catering for a large range of craft beers & other assortment of beer on tap. A wonderful range of wines & spirits are also available.🍻🍷🥂 Arana Hills Leagues Club is renowned for providing quality live entertainment with artists providing a wide range of music.🎤🎵🎸 Having an excellent kids club is an added bonus. I always bring my visitors from various parts of Australia to share hospitality. Keep up the great work. I have always found the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. All previous Covid -19 restrictions have now been removed, but hand sanitising stations are available throughout the Arana Hills Leagues Club. Arana Hills Leagues Club provides a free bus service. Prior bookings are required for pick up/ drop off from your home address. The Arana Hills Leagues Club has undergone significant improvements in the Gaming & Restaurant area's, this has now been completed & has given the club a brand new outlook. There are further improvements coming to Arana Hills Leagues Club, with the current deck/verandah area being undertaken for an upgrade & to be completed by the end of June 2025. I can't wait to see these major improvements in the coming months. For further information on upgrades, entertainment, or anything to do with the Arana Hills Leagues Club, please check out the clubs website or contact the friendly staff at the main reception area 😀

Pulled up at peak hour Friday night we were lucky to be seated almost immediately by a worker named Zac. Although the time of day and the busyness of the Rana (what the locals call it) we got given a table for six straight away. My buddy Scott (Scott Mogs) got himself the ribs off the chef’s special menu he loved them and said “where tender meets tantalising, a savoury symphony for the senses.” Whilst me and my buddy Mitch endulged in the classic chicken parmi. We were both impressed by the perfectly sizzled thick cuts of bacon on top. My buddy Joel had the bangers and mash which he said was great and reminded him of his home land. Joseph had the steak but he couldn’t find our table the blind untcay. Will the had a chicken snitzel which he loved as he could dip it in tomato sauce. The bar was hard to beat, Mitch was having a yarn with the larrikin like bar staff for a hot minute he said “they were full of wisdom and experience.” In conclusion, our outing to the Arana leagues club exceed our expectations. The live music gave us a warm and welcome atmosphere. We appreciate the formal garments that all staff wear and kindness of the employees. The only issue perfectly summarised by Joel was “how the hell does the bangers and mash cost more than a chef’s special bbq ribs.”

Very nice leagues club down in Arana. Had a lot of dinners here for various family birthdays and catch ups. Its quite a big place with lots of seating inside and out. Staff are really nice and always make an effort. Wait staff are generally younger kids but they do a great job. Live entertainment is often on otherwise plenty of tv screens playing the footy to watch. Kids have their own play room and its often put to good use as its a family friendly environment with plenty of little ones running around. There is 2 restaurants inside, the big main one with a full menu and the smaller cafe running a smaller basic menu with a dessert window. The food is fairly standard pub style food, don't expect anything to blow your mind and you will be fine. They have a fully stocked standard bar of spirits. My only criticism is the beers on tap are pretty much XXXX and Tooheys. They have so many taps would expect them to run at least some stone and wood Pacific ale. They do have a couple of craft beers in bottles but not many choices. There is a small bottle shop attached to the front that stocks small range of basics. Overall its an enjoyable venue to visit that is well run.

I personally believe this place, should be rated 12 out of 10, it is the most exciting sporting club i have ever seen, food and service Tops. Clubhouse comfortable and right on the edge of the field. Im only giving this place 1 star, solely because of an incident that happened to my son who took me there to watch his son play league there. On arrival my son went to the bar and ordered 2 beers and some food, spending about $100. We ate our food drunk the beer, and my son went to the toilet and as he came out a very young security person told him there was a dress cold and that he must leave the Club rooms. We had caused no trouble at all, and none of the bar staff or waiters had told my son he was not allowed in the club wearing his Dolphin singlet. This boy security guard over stepped the line, and should have been more about being polite to my Son and looking to resolve the situation. My son had a tee shirt in his vehicle and told me he would have put the tee on if asked, however a small argument took place where my Son told this smart arsed security boy, that the door we entered from displayed no warning of a dress code, to which he replied yes that door and foyer had no code advertised. My son said at 2.30pm we were going outside to watch the game, and my son walked back to the table, a couple of mins later the security boy came to the table and told my son he had to leave, and then noted this boy now had all the security there to back him up, my son was really cross by now that his family outing had been totally ruined, and left. I went to talk to that guard, and asked him why he did not offer to give my son a tee to wear and he said yes we can do that, and I said great all solved stopped my son at the door and told him I had a tee for him to wear, but he was so cross he walked out vowing to never visit that Club ever again. I was visiting my son from NZ and only been in Brisbane for 3days and this Boy ruined what would have been my Son shouting his Father to a league experience and Family time over a good meal and pleasant surroundings. I also believe, the Security had no right what so ever, to impose a dress code without clearly advertising it at the entrance. Your club is beautiful, your security, lacks empathy, and a friendly helpful manner, to resolve a small issue before it escalated. Also lastly there were other people wearing singlets inside and not...
