Aya sushi — Restaurant in Brisbane City

We have eaten here regularly for years, usually take away sushi but sometimes hot meals. The staff has always been super nice and friendly, but have always ordered off the menu and haven’t needed any special requests. The food is always delightful (I recommend the teriyaki sushi and karaage chicken). There is limited seating inside but plenty outside. There is a lot of sushi places around and this is definitely one of the better ones in my experience. The options towards closing time become very limited, but sushi doesn’t keep so that’s to be expected. Would highly recommend...

I used to buy from this store on a weekly basis. The food was fantastic! However something has changed in the last 6 months or so. The quality of the food has changed noticeably. The sushi rolls are now dry and not enough sauce. They stuff almost a third of the end of the crab sushi roll with rice (the end they don’t display to the customers). And the kaarage chicken bowls that we used to buy are now filled with chewy overcooked chicken. We just don’t buy from here anymore. Sad really, because we miss having our sushi. It used to...

We asked for tempura vege and instead got tempura prawn... understand the confusion so we pointed out that she has picked up prawn but she said no, we asked her to check and ultimately she realised. After that she created issue that she has used a bigger packing and we want only one sushi..we went in and literally asked for just one sushi so don't understand where she got the impression that we wanted more. Please be cautious if you are any dietary requirements and check before you do any take away....
