Three Wise Monkeys Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I have seen so many times. When a customer walks in staff welcomes with a smiling face. While a delivery driver from uber/doordash comes every ones face turns to grey. This incident happened on 07/07/2024 morning around 10AM. I came for a doordash pickup there are some customers who are in queue. I stood aside after customers done I went and asked the staff lady Me: is my order ready? Staff : still being made. Me: waited for 15 mins and again went to ask how long more. Staff: This time it's a guy and he said I don't know. Me: I felt so bad and I controlled myself to not being rude. Staff: Another lady came to cover that guy and she politely asked me show my order for which customer I'm showing to her. Then another lady staff came from nowhere and asked me to stand outside while I trying to show my order name. Note: I'm not disturbing any customer's who are waiting to order.

After all this I felt so bad and walked out from there.

Why this two types of faces for customers and delivery drivers? You guys are not paying us and you also need to know the fact that there is a customer who is waiting at home same as the customer walks in.

Thanks for the reply and I would like to remind you that You guys are not paying for waiting forever . Doordash doesn't give a single penny for waiting. You must tell us the beforehand if you can't prepare in time. The saddest part is you have no concern about treating drivers like that and...

Finally stopped and had some Breakfast while waiting for a chemist prescription. Great fast service from ordering to delivery of my order and all the tables were utilised, Friendly staff though a pushy regular marked the table I was at as theirs before I left with (No Rush but I'll just leave this here) stance. Had the basic weekly breakfast deal only available with a coffee purchase. 1.5 rasher of bacon, two eggs, a hash brown and a piece of toast all (Just Cooked). I ate quickly because it was Lukewarm and went cold pretty quick, I'm keen to try a burger next time so will edit at a later date. (plate warming would probably fix this). When I placed my order I asked to dine in so I could get my coffee in a mug they brought out the coffee in a take away cup and I reminded him I asked for dine in and he said oh sorry and took it back I waited ages for the replacement coffee and when he brought it out it looked okay but the coffee was burnt and tasted horrendous like the barista have never made a coffee in their life

Shortly after they brought out my food, I got the big breakfast and the eggs weren’t cooked properly. The bacon was burnt but the relish was good
