UPDATED: Extremely Disappointed – Serious Dietary and Safety Concerns I recently placed what I hoped would be a simple and safe order from Noodle Box, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. Despite clearly communicating specific dietary requirements, every item I received — other than the dim sims — was contaminated and inedible due to cross-contamination or ignored instructions. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue with Noodle Box, but I decided to give them one final chance. Sadly, the outcome was the same, if not worse. A token $10 store credit was offered, which in no way reflects the seriousness of the problem — especially when it involves health and safety. Not only did this experience put my family’s well-being at risk, but it also raised serious concerns about whether food safety standards are being upheld at this location. From my perspective, procedures appear to be falling short of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code and could potentially put other customers at risk as well. Based on my repeated negative experiences and this latest incident, I can no longer trust this brand and will not be dining here or at any of their affiliated stores again. I sincerely hope the business takes these concerns seriously and makes urgent improvements to ensure food safety and customer care in the future. Noodle dishes are OK. They are better when I ask for medium heat/chilli and actually get it. Cooking times can vary but most of the time they are pretty quick. I have noticed they seem to close early even though the website says they are open until 9pm and they have put stickers over the closing times for Friday to Sunday on the door sign. I have arrived just before 8.30pm before and have been turned away because they had turned everything off and put everything away. When questioned about closing time being 9pm they just said they were closed even though the door was still open. Another trip I arrived on a Friday just on 8pm and was ignored by three people, one worker asked another worker if they were still cooking at 8pm. Everything was put away and while I was waiting they were sweeping around me. After watching the V8’s and Aussie it up by having a few (many) drinks on a Saturday arvo, my partner and I were feeling a little peckish and decided on ordering a feed. North Korea instantly came to mind as I love the Supreme Leader cause he is sneaky so we ordered from Supreme Chicken, which as we dissected local intelligence, was actually Noodle Box in Bracken Ridge. We saw the reviews and they were pretty ordinary but we decided to be optimistic and thought the Leader could do no wrong. The chicken was kinda ok if you drowned it in the soy sauce that we optioned. We also ordered a salad and that came in a little plastic container about the size of a shot glass.
